That should have already been the play.

Inept franchise

I agree.
But after initial shock, I’m sure he’ll be ok but we have to shut him down and reset this franchise or he truly is broken

Offsetting penalties just doesn't feel right for that situation.

I agree that it doesn't feel right, but how would you change NFL rules?  If the rule said only the person who threw the first punch was penalized, then the other team would retaliate 100% of the time.  The NFL can't have that either.

Hopefully, the player will get a multi game suspension as penalty.

I think caldrac said he was at the game

Intrigued tk see his perspective

Trevor should have already been on IR, Baalke should have been gone, and Mac should have been the guy handing off all game with Doug understanding he's a dead man walking.

I think Trevor wanted to play. He wants to be a leader and be on the field, especially watching the last 2 L"s from the sideline. What sucks was he bailed out on a scramble earlier and the time he goes for it, and gets it, he gets smacked with a completely dirty hit.

He just can't catch a break at the moment.

Yea, I don't blame Trevor for wanting to play. He's a really tough guy and wanted to show his leadership. While he wasn't great today, he did make some throws which indicated the team had a better chance to win with him than Jones. On the other hand, the team absolutely needs to shut him down for the remainder of this season even if he somehow avoided another concussion or shoulder aggravation.

We have too much invested in Lawrence to let this drag him down. He has all offseason to get his mind and body right. He isn't throwing with purpose or conviction. Need to get some confidence back.

Who cares what he wanted?

Players play, other people make the big decisions.

Doug and Baalke are still thinking about how to salvage their jobs, they weren't going to think about what's important long term and what needed to happen with the long term interests of the team in mind

That was Khan's job, and he sat on his thumb rather than do what needs to be done.

I don't disagree with your point. Trevor didn't get hurt because of the shoulder injury. It was a dirty hit to the head. I don't think we see Trevor play again this year but it shouldn't be a career ending or changing play. We'll hopefully.

Motivation is not the problem lol he wanted to play today despite his injury. That’s a motivated football player. The issue is this garbage system around him

I talk crap about Scherff...but I'd buy him, Evan and Brenton Strange a bear tonight. I'm toasting those 3 regardless or today's outcome. And I'm looking forward to the Texans game next season.

The penalty incurred during the play should count. The retaliatory penalties outside the play should offset. It's not really complicated.

Exactly. I have so much respect for how he will fight through injuries to play. There is obviously a limit, hence why he sat the last 2 weeks but he felt he could play. He looked rusty and was playing through the injury (the whole O looked bad really) but yeah. This is Trevor done for the year. I don't think it's necessary a season ending injury but let him rest, recover and be ready for the new staff.

I think he got concussed. He had the stiff arms but seemed to recover quickly.

He got hurt because the team is bad and he shouldn't have been in the game to start with. The focus of a losing team with a front office and coaching staff that should be fired should be lining things up for the off-season.

Khan should already be on the line firing Baalke and letting whatever person he is in charge for the remainder of the season know that Trevor is to go on IR along with any other decent player that has an injury that could linger into the off-season.

The season was a lost cause weeks ago, and Khan really needs to learn that inaction can still cause more problems than action does.

Don't forget Jarrian Jones, our freaking ROOKIE CB, who got ejected for retaliating on behalf of his QB.

I actually LOVE seeing something like that going all the way down to our rookie corner... It shows that despite Trevor's struggles/inconsistencies at times, this team has his back regardless of all of that.]

I want Evan Engram to retire as a Jaguar.

Remember ETNs fumble in the Miami game?   Gabe Davis missed his block on the guy that knocked the ball out of Travis' hand.   If Gabe makes the block, TOUCHDOWN.   Season might be different.

Not a fan of these receiving acquisitions.
