Week 14
|
Watching the Panthers making things difficult for the Eagles. This is not a runaway game by any means. 16-14 Panthers going into the 4th quarter. Chuba Hubbard will have a 1K+ yard season for the first time in his career. Saquon Barkley is doing Saquon Barkley things but Panthers D is making it harder for him.
Outside of the Steelers/Browns and Saints/Giants games the early game scores so far are close. Looking forward to Bills and Chargers. I'm enjoying watching Buffalo this season. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Kirk Cousins doing well against his former team and Adam Thielen is a better WR than he probably gets credit for for being in Carolina.

I officially despise the Chiefs now. Their stupid luck quotient is simply too high.
Chiefs have officially maxed out there luck skill
I'm rooting for every team against them in the olayoffs
What a horrible missed face mask call
Why cant they video review [BLEEP] like this We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Nail in the coffin for 49ers. Crucial dropped pass to Deebo and dumb INT by Purdy sums up a lost season. Crossroads for Niners with salary cap decisions heading into next season.
That’s a huge decision and commitment the 49ers have to make. It’s not very clear to me that Purdy is a difference maker at QB. When the team is healthy, he’s a game manager. He fits. But he’s not one who can lift a team by himself with any extraordinary skill or talent, in my opinion. But then heres the problem: the problem is there's about 5 or 6 of those guys who can lift a team by themselves....Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Hurts and Lamar. That's pretty much it for me. So if you don't have one of those guys, but you have a guy who can win, what now? If you’re John Lynch, do you want to be paying top market price and/or long term guaranteed contract for a 6’1” QB? It’s such an important decision, and I bet the 49ers do it, also. What real choice do they have? They got the benefit of Purdy’s paltry rookie contract, and now they’ve got to pay. Guess we’ll see how it turns out. (12-14-2024, 07:59 AM)TDOSS Wrote: Nail in the coffin for 49ers. Crucial dropped pass to Deebo and dumb INT by Purdy sums up a lost season. I would almost argue that the 49ers bigger issue is that they really miss 36 yo Trent Williams being out and they have no viable replacement for him. Williams isn’t going to play forever, and he’s been out of the lineup with an ankle injury. If you check out any coverage and opinions of the 49ers 2025 draft, many are predicting they’re going to use their 1st on <wait for it> an offensive tackle.(12-14-2024, 07:59 AM)TDOSS Wrote: Nail in the coffin for 49ers. A wild week 14, Campbell going for the onside kick with 12 mins left down 10 with 3 timeouts.... wow. Ben Johnson kept dialing up creative plays up until the end. Josh Allen just too much.
Dan Campbell making inexplicably dumb-[BLEEP] decisions might be their biggest problem, dating back to his first year with the team. I mean he may have cost them the NFC crown last year. He nearly cost them a game earlier this year and he made an unbelievably bone-headed decisions to kick an onsides earlier this game.

I got to wonder, if he makes another big mistake in the playoffs that costs them... does management weigh the decision of keeping Ben Johnson as HC and firing Campbell. If I had the choice between Campbell and Johnson.... honestly I am taking Johnson. Certainly will be an interesting decision. We show less advertisements to registered users. I saw part of an interview with him today and he said his biggest flaw as a HC is he tends to be aggressive when the pressure is on, which can be interpreted as getting too cute with the plays. But at least he understands and acknowledges it. He's coming into his own as a HC. Give him time to work out the wrinkles because he's going to be one of the historically better coaches. Detroit has their guy. Good times are ahead for them.

Texans clinch, but they look like a first round exit team 9ers window is officially closed Lions are leaking oil. No situational awareness from Campbell as HC, which will most likely come back to bite them I dont wish injury on any player, but please make it so for the Chefs Broncos will be the X factor team in the AFC playoffs NFC West gets eliminated early from playoffs Packers or Iggles could go all the way. But then again, so could the Rasberries.

Goff is the first QB to throw for 400+ yrds 5 TD 0Ints and to lose a game in NFL history and he had almost 500 yrds. They missed Hutchinson yesterday. The loss of Hutchinson is showing up against the really good teams
