That's pure [BLEEP].
There were 17 FBI informants there.  So what? 17 out of 2,000 is less than 1%.
More than 99% of those who entered sincerely wanted to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power.

LOL.  Looks like more than 1% in this photo alone, just standing around taking pictures.

Pelosi was advised to have National guard present. She was in charge and declined, then it happened. There are videos on the net where she even says it. I believe her daughter filmed one. It was a setup and the Jan 6 was a taxpayer funded attempt to get the accountability away from her. That is why the documents were destroyed. You can find them. Since this does not fit with what you are attempting here I have little hope of anything but denials, delay and distraction.

Whatever man, this whole thing was a setup. Just one attempt of many to suppress a political opponent. If you read the papers lately then you must know we had a vote recently. I do believe the majority of people are on my side on this one. Might want to mine in another spot, this one is mined out.

Great, next we can have elections about gravity and quantum mechanics. We could finally come up with a grand unified theory of physics if we just vote on it! I had no idea that majorities were so powerful, that their opinions could change facts, Thank you for enlightening me.

In seriousness, though, I said this would be the last thread on the subject and I didn't resurrect the thread this time.

Also, polls still say that people believe Biden won in 2020, that the January 6 riots were a violent attempt to overturn the election, and Trump more than anyone else instigated those riots.  It's just that enough people were willing to overlook that as they either voted for Trump or stayed home.

No issue, we just disagree. However were these the same poll guys that showed Harris ahead of Trump?  That poor Iowa lady had to retire after she sold out.

I'm not counting a bruise or a splinter they got while getting their fat incompetent [BLEEP] out of the way.

Let's agree that John Kerry exaggerated each of the injuries he got purple hearts for.

Let's agree that most soldiers at the time would have said "NBD" to the type of injury Kerry got.

Do you mean to suggest that every single member of the DC metro police and Capitol police forces take the John Kerry approach to injury reporting?

If so, do you mean to imply that this makes it OK to push and shove cops and pepper spray them?

Does the Seattle police force have this apparent "John Kerry syndrome"?

(03-25-2024, 09:32 AM)Sneakers Wrote: No, it doesn't, and the number injured in Seattle is irrelevant.  The fact that you present the officer's death, which was not attributable to his injuries, as an argument, however, illustrates your bias.  You're consumed by hatred of Trump and incapable of looking at the evidence objectively.

This isn't about me.  This is about January 6.  Stop making it about me.  If you want a thread that's about me start a new thread.

J6 Bombshell: Trump Didn't Just Offer Military to Protect Capitol, He Ordered It but Was Disobeyed

On the eve of former President Donald Trump’s return to power, a new report is turning the story of the 2021 Capitol incursion on its head.

For four years, a Democratic-run “select” committee on Jan. 6, anti-Trump Republicans, and the establishment media have blamed Trump for the violence in Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, but the report released Tuesday accused Trump’s acting defense secretary at the time, Christopher Miller, of defying Trump’s specific orders.

It’s the very first finding of the report, and it paints a scathing picture of Nancy Pelosi’s “select” committee — and former Rep. Liz Cheney’s role in the whole affair.

Maybe that's evidence that Trump didn't want the building to be breached.
But if he didn't want the building to be breached, why did he wait 3 hours before telling the rioters to go home?

Irrelevant.  You made a grossly exaggerated and indefensible claim, and I called you out on it, providing photographic evidence.  Now you're just backpedaling to avoid admitting you pulled the 99% ratio out of your posterior.

Yes, a very small percentage of those who entered the Capitol had ill intent.  Most were just angry over what they believed (rightly or wrongly) to have been an injustice.  Others were simply following the crowd.

My claim was that 99% of them were there intending to disrupt Congress.  That photo catches them milling around because Congress was disrupted at that time.  I am not backpedaling.  I am proving my point.
