159 Democrats Voted AGAINST the Laken Riley Act
|
Yeah, the Jackasses really care about the people........
159 Democrats Voted AGAINST the Laken Riley Act The Laken Riley Act would require federal immigration authorities to detain illegal aliens who commit theft-related crimes. It would also allow states to sue the Department of Homeland Security if a state's citizens were harmed due to illegal immigration. Thankfully, this act passed the House on Tuesday. But 159 Democrats voted AGAINST it. All Republicans voted for it. 48 Democrats voted for it. Yet, again, the overwhelming majority of House Democrats came out against this bill. What the hell? The bill is named after a University of Georgia nursing student who was murdered by an illegal immigrant near her college campus earlier this year. This shouldn't be hard. We ARE talking about rapists and murderers here?!? 159 Democrats Voted AGAINST the Laken Riley Act ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Fox interviewed one Rep that didn't vote for it today. He stated he would have voted for it IF the person had been convicted of a crime. He avoided answering the fact they currently release these guys and do not charge them. It was a masterful circular conversation. Kind of like some we have here.
Anyone who voted against it should be a HUGE target of the Republicans during mid terms. Democrats will beging to see this I bet.
A new broom always sweeps clean.
