Divisional round

The first RTP was on failed 3rd down that resulted in a FG scoring a drive. So, 3 point by the refs, sure.

The second RTP was on a 1st down run for 9 yards. Yes KC scored a TD, but they still had to get 61 yards and overcame an offensive holding on the drive. So the penalty helped, but it didn't gift them a TD.

I would say that Mahomes does force the issue and blur the lines on the rule. For example the "flopping/pausing" near the sideline to get some calls. It is very Harden-esque. But it is still legal within the rules as they are currently called.

Both of those "Roughing the Passer" calls were utter BS.  And you could see later in the game Mahomes intentionally slowing down at the sideline, then flopping when the LB put his hands up to not run him over for another shot at a fake penalty.

I'm really not a blame the refs kinda guy, but some of those calls were shameless.

I'm kind of torn on this game. The Lions are a great story this season and have never won a Super Bowl. Also. I really thought they might have the best chance to beat the Chiefs. On the other hand, I'm anxious to see if the Jaguars are fortunate enough to land Johnson. Would love to see plays like just happened with Williams going all the way on a reverse. The Jaguars reverse plays typically go for minus yards!

This is turning into a great game. Probably an instant classic in the making.

Props to Ben Johnson on that playcall with Goff out. Nice counter reverse play.

Are we sure Jayden Daniels is a rookie?

Also, how on earth was LSU so bad in 2023? Jaydon Daniels, BTJ, Malik Nabers....

They had a drop off on the o line and the D line.  Of course we went out and hired their D line coach and drafted 2 of the linemen...

I think the Chiefs lose to the winner of the game tomorrow.

Goff turned into Goff. Dang. They are in serious trouble.

Ben Johnson announcement may come on Monday.

If Washington scores on their first drive, then yes.

This is why having a viable back up QB is important. He was concussed and they're going to downplay it, but, he just threw an INT on a wide open receiver. They're feeling pressured now because they just signed Bridgewater a few weeks ago.
