What did they hope to accomplish going there? Were they going to throw the doge dudes out or something?
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

Theoretical question:
What if DOGE finds that there was indisputible election fraud perpetrated by the Dems in 2020, and the data backed up that the fraud occurred. Supervisors of Elections were paid off, whatever. And lets say that the election then got audited and Trump actually was proven to have won. Would he be entitled to a 3rd term, a term that was stolen from him? Would it be reasonable to then reverse all actions by the Biden Administration, since it never should have occured? All Biden existing laws scrubbed from the books to the legal extent possible making the Biden Presidency non-existent? He's made offhand comments about a 3rd term. Does he already know things we dont?

I like that this administration is stressing the courts. For too long the bureaucracy have been playing loosely with their fiat powers to rule by questionable decree. It's time to start challenging the system to establish clear lines and to change some laws.

Elon has reportedly paid 40m out of own pocket for five 30 second ads tonight to report on DOGE findings. This will be amazing.

They have a lot of damage control to do for the Democrats. (02-09-2025, 09:50 AM)homebiscuit Wrote:(02-09-2025, 09:23 AM)Jag149 Wrote: Now that is going to be fun. It will be interesting to see how much time they give to the subject now the installment payments are frozen. Forgive me for injecting sports into this political string. :: ![]()

Marco Rubio is on his way to be an excellent Secretary of State.

He mentioned they had tried to do it a less aggressive way and failed due to the resistance of the department. Also, that some continued to try and "slip" things through. If that is the case those employees should be fired for cause.

Chevron said give all possible deference to administrators. Loeper Bright says give deference to the original administrative interpretation of each law. Trump's going to win some cases, but the Loeper Bright ruling makes things harder for his team, not easier.

Well, first before people get excited Elon was clear he would suggest it. He was clear it was not his decision. Next expect an incoming a presser by Pelosi railing against it calling it "crumbs" and not wanting people to get it.

4.7 trillion without an explanation what it is for? These guys work for us. They have no business not documenting what the payment is for. Was the money well spent? It is now going to take tracing the payments individually to find out. In business that would be criminal.
