Out of Tulane University. Only 1 career interception.

5’11 197 lbs

Projects as a slot/nickel

Gives the Jaguars more needed secondary help. Ran a 4.33 which gives that secondary some speed to run with the Tyreek Hill’s of the NFL.

This guy is fast. By the way, Gladstone said he will be.a safety. Imagine that speed at safety.

Actually, he projects at free safety. He's here to push Eric Murray to the bench in 2026.

They want someone who can catchup to anyone deep. He's still a huge reach with the other safeties available at that pick. He was drafted because of his speed, not because of his play on the field. His stats are bad but haven't seen advanced metrics, he only had 6 PDs and 1 INT in 4 seasons. For someone fast, you would expect a lot more PDs.

This reminds me of Gene Smith picks. Hopefully the coaches can make him a safety, otherwise it's like a fast WR who can't catch.

How is it a reach? He went where he was projected. The Texans and clots were interested. Cisco replacement.

His NFL grade was a 50. He wasn't graded as a 3rd pick. The other 3 S picked in the 3rd round, the lowest was 75. This was a reach for the 3rd round. At the bottom of the 4th, there are still S that are graded better.

This pick was done based on measurables, not play on the field. He's had 4 years of play where he was a nobody on the field on bad teams.

I hope he plays safety. He tackles like one.

Looks to be Ciscos replacement at FS.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
