It's a good thing when you answer your own cry. ??????

I have to be honest, outside of Hunter and Milum, I’m seeing a whole lotta nuttin’ at first glimpse, but flexibility is the theme in this draft class.

The Jaguars now have plenty players that can play several different positions, and that is going to give them more flexibility over a 17+ week schedule. The little things can be the difference in a win or loss, like a RB that can step up and take on a blitzing LB’er on 3rd down. Hopefully they are buttoning those small details up.

We have flexibility across the board, at all 3 levels on defense, and over on offense, the offensive line got a major boost with guys that can kick outside or inside in a pinch.

You’re going to get your strongest offensive lineman back in Cooper Hodges. You got some veterans that will come in and pick up where the other veterans left off.

Most importantly Trevor Lawrence will be back under center who will have his Pro Bowl WR in Brian Thomas with All-World Travis Hunter. I’m glad I’m not the defensive coordinator for the opposing teams. That’s going to be a problem for opposing defenses.

Cam Little, Logan Cooke, and Ross Matistik will be doing their thing.

Parker Washington will be running underneath those 2 studs at WR. Gabe can hold their gatorade.

Overall Travis Hunter makes this draft a success. Boselli had his hand on some of these draft picks with the offensive lineman.

All we have to do is compete for the division, which will give us lottery tickets to have a shot in the playoffs and with a little bit of “1996” luck/magic we win a couple of games and make it to the big game and give ourselves a shot to win the Super Bowl.

The team acquired 9 players in a draft that they traded up to the 2nd overall pick. The team added the most marketable player in this draft.

All of the players they drafted have a passion for the game of football which was the most glaring deficit on the 2024 team.

The team used the 2025 1st and 2nd round pics and the 2026 1st rounder to acquire the best WR in this class. The team drafted 2 offensive linemen to go with the 4 FA additions. All of these moves were made to help Trevor. Now is the time for Trevor to step up and become an ACTIVE leader. He has always been tough and steady and lead by example. Now he needs to find his voice and demand accountability. Show up early. Stay late. Emulate and study how Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow lead. We Need you to be a leader for this team.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Agreed. And we need 2022 Etienne. Along with Brian Thomas, and give me the 5 best offensive lineman and let’s go. If Josh Hines-Allen can go get 15+ sacks and Walker gets 10+ we can generate some turnovers. Campbell needs a big year, and hopefully we got better on the back end.

This was a good overall class and haul with a common theme. Speed and versatility.

Hunter, Tuten & Allen from a skill position standpoint offer a lot of overall value. Obviously Hunter being the two-way athlete. Tuten with his speed at RB and KR abilities and then Allen with his nose for the endzone and pass catching abilities as a RB.

This same theme trickled down through the selections of Milum and Monheim. Milum was a stout LT at West Virginia last season and now he's being asked to kick inside to truly take advantage of his finisher mentality. Monheim can play OT/OC/OG. He'll be an excellent developmental prospect in 2025 and will shore up a position or two by the end of the year.

When you look at the defensive side of the football. Again, starting with Hunter. It'll be interesting to see how the kid is utilized but I am thinking it's 70/30 in favor of offense this year with him getting critical (and blatantly obvious) passing situations when our defense is either backed up in the endzone or when we actually have our opponent backed up in their own endzone and there's a chance to either get off the field or get the ball back.

Ransaw is going to be a fun player to watch roaming between Safety and Nickel. He's fast as hell and he can tackle. Has an incredible career tackle ratio coming into the NFL. Same as Kiser, again, another guy that can play any LB position, is a sure tackler, and even dabbled from time to time as a Safey for the Golden Domers. We then got our tweeners at LB/EDGE with McLeod who had a promising year rushing the passer at Auburn and then we have another Safety in Lane III coming over from Navy but seems to be a special teams ACE and a guy that just seems to be around the football a lot.

Like most things in life. Only time will tell. However, when you have a front office and coaching staff specifically targeting players that can play more than one position for you? You're already a step ahead in at least keeping the roster fluid and competent. This was a good first step in the right direction for the youngest General Manager in the NFL. As much flack as he caught for forking over next year's 1st RD selection to land Hunter?

Can we at least acknowledge the unique athlete that Hunter is after being listed as WR1 and CB1 from this class? As well as the fact that the young man managed to flip the 70th overall selection over to the Lions for a pair of 3rd RD selections in next year's draft? That shows some wisdom beyond his years if you ask me. We're guaranteed yet another set of four overall selections in the top 100 going into next year and I believe that puts us up to 11 overall selections.

He can always move back up if he finds a player worthy of moving up for. They wanted to be bold. They behaved boldly. Fortune favors the bold. Let's see what happens, but, it's refreshing nonetheless.

Ransaw is the playing nickle, he's a center fielder.

Been a fan since 1993. I’ve seen the Jaguars on the cusp of a Super Bowl 3 times and have been right there with them through all the down years.

So if I may, the 2025 theme is “LET’S GET ACTIVE”
Fly around, make plays, play to the whistle, play with passion.

You got a highly touted, supremely gifted athlete that can make things happen. Pick your poison between Hunter and Thomas. MVP caliber QB, with 2 capable RBs, one of the best overall special teams units in the league with Washington, Little, Matistik, and Cooke. The highest paid defensive player in Jaguars History coming off the edge, with Walker on the other side and Ogbah that could give you a borderline top 10 pass rushing unit in the NFL. Campbell is right there with the best CBs in the game, and you already know Oluokun will hit anything that moves and is the heart-beat of that defense. Hunter is going to give that secondary a boost and now we have some pieces to move some guys around and find the best fit at Safety. Jones is said to be moving outside and could be primed for a huge 2nd season.

We got speed for days on both sides of the football. We know who will be calling the plays instead what was happening the past couple years.

First badge to unlock - win the division (always goal #1)

“Let’s Get Active”
