Bridgewater's struggles continue?!?

Quote:I'd be fine with trading down to get Bridgewater. Not up.

Agree. As Caldwell says, he believes this class needs some seasoning, to sit a while.

Quote:Agreed. So is the level of competition.

Bridgewater is a good QB, but pick 3 good? I just don't think so.

What in the article suggest the level of competition allowed him to perform ?

Andrew Luck level of competition was not great either.

Luck's level of competition was a lot better than Bridgewater's.

Luck in his final year played three top 10 teams, 2 of which were top 5.

Bridgeater in his final year played #10.

Luck in his career played 7 ranked teams, 4 top 10, 3 top 5, and won 4 total. Beating a #6, #11, #16, and a #22, losing to a #3 twice and a #4.

Bridgewater in his career played 4 ranked teams, 2 top 10, and won 2 total. Beating a #9 and a # 17, losing to a #10 and a #25.

Not to mention from top to bottom, the PAC-10/12 is a much stronger conference than the AAC.

Quote:On the Mariucci show he shrank as well.

He was on with David Fales and Tajh Boyd, and didn't stand out among them like he easily should have.

Football-wise, he was prancing off his back foot instead of driving off it. His answers lacked confidence and leadership. He comes off as a child expecting to play a man's game, and I believe he's in for a rude awakening.

I though this was funny, because I've always thought of him as having a "waterboy" relationship with his mother. Turns out, his mom nicknamed him "Bobby Boucher." http://www.courier-journal.com/article/20131229/SPORTS02/312290069/

Oh good lord. This is some nawrocki type analysis.

Agreed that luck played better teams but defensive ranking would be more important than actual ranking.

Yeah its weird i thought he was extremely confident in his answers. When they asked him why he was the best QB in the class with Boyd and Fales sittign right there he confidently talked numbers and brought up his comp % being better than theirs , his 3rd down percentage being the best in the class and said he felt he had the best mental game by far. What about that lacks confidence?

I have no idea. I do know I am starting to hate the draft.

Just do what I do; avoid delving too deeply into any "Bridgewater" threads, skim some Prospect Rankings sites - I really like the ones on CBSSports.com - use the Mock Draft Generator at Fanspeak, and spend more time than usual over on the Sideline telling Rico he's dum.

Before you know it, May 8th will be here and we'll have a shiny new player to swoon over.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

About some of the hot takes about prospects? Yeah it is frustrating to read.

I think teddy is unfairly criticized. I think manziel gets similar treatment as does Clowney. Less focus is being put on game tape and more on random crap.

I think you just need to pick your sources for information. Most sites are total crap. I like Mocking the Draft. I also stay far, far, far away from the absolute draft dumpster fire known as Twitter.

Yeah, just a few more weeks. I like the NFL Draft podcast with Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah too.

I think most on here know I always stand by what I see. I don't care if you have a differing opinion. I enjoy talking about prospects.

And to Deacon. Yeah I've been using the mock draft simulator a lot. It's pretty fun.
