Trade down?

If they aren't big on any of the QBs in the top 10, then I don't mind this.

With Walter's trade down to Minnesota's 8th pick, the Jags also receive the Viking's 2nd round selection in 2014 and in 2015.  Basically in their scenario, the Jags are giving up the top-ranked WR Watkins for Evans, fulfilling their WR need, and incrementally picking up DE Demarcus Lawrence (and a future pick).  OG David Yankey and OC Marcus Martin were also available with the Viking's 2nd round pick if an upgrade to the OL is desired instead.  Personally, I like the scenario, especially for a team short on talent.

Good way to think about it, I just worry about the QB situation.

I think we trade down from the 3rd overall pick and also trade up into the end of the first round to secure our QB. Conviniently,a team we have a good rapport with has the 32nd pick.
