Quote:Yeah, just a few more weeks. I like the NFL Draft podcast with Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah too. Forgot about that one. I like brooks. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Brooks new mock draft. I like the first pick and Mason is my favorite RB in the draft but i would rather go a different position in round 2 but i wouldnt hate the pick

I would be surprised if Mason is the pick, or they go RB that early. I think they are pretty committed to Gerhart being the guy for the next couple of season. Now on the third day, if a guy is there and is a good value I think they could pick one.
Even though I think Mason is going to be a good player, I really don't want them to go running back anytime before the third round.
Isn't it ironic that everyone was worried at some point about the tinhorns drafting Teddy 1st overall, and now it is very likely they will get him at the top of the 2nd?

Only those who lived through the past 6 years of this franchise will truly understand what was going through that guys head. That avatar is a thing of beauty and I don't think you should ever take it down. Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
I have to disagree with one sentiment. Twitter is by far the best and most honest resource for draft info. The caveat is you have to learn who to follow over time, but once you know who is putting in the work and who isn't putting out shock news purely for follows or page clicks it is way way better than using any major media source.

Twitter is by far the best resource for handwanks related to draft info. I followed some of the draft guys on Twitter. But most seem to spend a good amount of their time complaining about people complaining about the draft and draft related items.
The medium is the message. You just have to learn who to tune out, and who to tune in regardless.

Gonna just go with the few I like, then tune out the rest. Quote:Agreed. It's my fault for listening to some of the talking heads. Gonna just go with the few I like, then tune out the rest. Hopefully you realize your problem. It's not about following who you "like", it's about following who has proven over time to be the most accurate. Garbage in, garbage out.

Quote:Luck's opponents total defense ranking for his Junior season: And if you look back at Bridgewater's sophomore year, you will see a very, very tough schedule against very good defensive teams. I think like 4 teams in the top 20 defensively iirc. Quote:Twitter is by far the best resource for handwanks related to draft info. The alternatives are Bucky Brooks and Mel Kiper. Draft twitter doesnt have a job based on constantly changing opinion to create a demand for consumers. Quote:Hopefully you realize your problem. It's easy for people to claim being accurate when using their sources mock draft among the dozens of dumb mocks they posted throughout the year. And frankly who would you rather follow, the guy predicting the draft accurately even the dumbest decision or the guy being wrong about the draft order but right about the player pro success ? Quote:It's easy for people to claim being accurate when using their sources mock draft among the dozens of dumb mocks they posted throughout the year. The whole point of mock drafting is to try and figure out who is picking who. Mock drafting is about predicting what happens in May, not predicting something 5 years down the road. Many mock drafters rank the players by who they think will be best, but that is a separate thing from their draft.
