He will do what Shorts can't do: Display good hands.

He'll probably have a significant impact. Sanders has been invisible and Shorts has been suffering from it. Plus Blackmon actually catches the ball when it's thrown to him.

I doubt the Jaguars start looking great, but they'll look better than they have thanks to having someone to throw at that won't bobble the pass to the defender for an INT.

Hopefully he shows us why we traded up to draft him 5th overall

How has sanders been invisible? He has multiple games in a row with a 20 yard plus catch. Considering the entire production coming from the QB, he's done better than expected

He should show up just fine when he's playing his position and not Justin's.

I agree. However, ace was playing the shorts route tree while shorts was trying to impose as blackmon would. Justin, cecil, and ace are a good combination for any qb I believe. The knock on them is they are young.

Gotcha.  Playing outside -  whether it's Justin's or Shorts' routes -  won't do any favors for a 5'7" receiver.

Inside is definitely a safer place for the shorter sanders. I hope he can aspire to follow Blackmon's lead catching the ball in traffic and producing yac. I am a firm believer that it's best to lead by example and sanders can learn lots from cecil and blackmon on the field.

Blackmon was about as good as he could be today with what garbage we have at qb!

Is your opinion changing on both Gabbert and Blackmon? Seemed you needed to switch your love affair and you would have had it right.

I saw quite a fee plays where blackmon was inside and sanders outside (lined up on the same side of the field).

Blackmon is absolutely indefensable when lined up inside. He also seems to play better on turf.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

I was really impressed with his physicality yesterday. That one stiff arm was brutal.
