Quote:Tommy Boy - you really need to quit before you really look idiotic. I don't know why you think denigrating Luck and the Colts makes you look good (it certainly has nothing to do with the Jaguars.) This is the same KID who thinks Lebron is better than MJ. Think about that.
Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.
Quote:Tommy Boy - you really need to quit before you really look idiotic. I don't know why you think denigrating Luck and the Colts makes you look good (it certainly has nothing to do with the Jaguars.)All I did was respond to his post. That is his logic, not mine. Can you read? I mean this is the AFC South forum and all.. and the Colts are in the AFC South. So I think it would make sense to talk about the Colts in this thread. Quote:Nope, far from it but your analogy would have made sense if you threw in Trent Dilfer or Brad Johnson who were average QB's that actually played in and won a SB.All I did was use the same circumstances that you used. Andrew Luck is on a team that goes to playoffs = elite? Because that's pretty much what your post means. All I'm saying is Andrew Luck isn't elite and I have the tommy-hate groupie on my back. You want me to forget about it because you were wrong.. again.. understood. Yes, I did create a stupid thread. It's called fan banter. Go look on the Colts, Texans, and titans board. It's all over. I'm confused as to how you think I'm the only one who's done this type of thing, and apparently it makes me a d bag. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div> Quote:This is the same KID who thinks Lebron is better than MJ.At this point in his career, Lebron is a better all around player in my opinion. Will he sustain greatness like MJ did? We'll see. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div>
It's hard to believe LeBron turns 30 in December and that he's been in the league for 10 years already. He still seems like a kid. I tend to think while he'll still be great for a few more years, there's a good chance he'll fade quicker than other great players due to his size and style of play. I think gravity will catch up to him quickly. Guys like Jordan and Kobe had long careers because they were physically smaller. I think LeBron's knees will give out quicker and he'll lose his explosiveness much quicker than MJ and Kobe. He'll have to alter his game and use more post-up moves and work more inside using his size.
For what it's worth, here are some career state for MJ and LeBron: LeBron: PPG - 27.5, FG% - 49.7%, 3FG% - 34.1%, FT% - 74.7%, Reb - 7.2, Assists - 6.9, Blocks - 0.8, Steals - 1.7, Turnovers - 3.3, Championships - 2, MVPs - 4, Finals MVP - 2 Jordan: PPG - 30.1, FG% - 49.7%, 3FG% - 32.7%, FT% - 83.5%, Reb - 6.2, Assists - 5.3, Blocks - 0.8, Steals - 2.4, Turnovers - 2.7, Championships - 6, MVPs - 5, Finals MVP - 6 Jordan was defensive player of the year once and was first team all-defense nine times in his career. To say that LeBron's a better all-around player is just silly. Anybody who saw him play would never say that. Not only that, he played the game with a style and flair that has never been equaled in any sport.

Quote:Find me a post where I said Hilton is your only player. Go ahead, do it. Not going to go through 3,000 + of your troll posts. My mind would explode. Quote:Tommy Boy - you really need to quit before you really look idiotic. He's been looking like that ever since he started posting. He's already been lost.
Quote:My bad. I guess Tommy could ask you the same thing. Some of the things you say are so mind blowing that its either to cause a stir or arguement....or you aren't living in the reality we all are. I'm not the only one who thinks this...I can assure you fo that.

Quote:Seems like a kid?! That hair loss on the front of his head proves you wrong. This is true. That dude has looked 35 years old ever since he was 18. I'm just thinking it seemed like yesterday when he was Boy Wonder entering the league. Time flies.

Quote:Or you could have just said you couldn't fine one. This might be a huge reason why. LeBron is DOMINANT against the current NBA, and I think an overall lesser "superstar" atmosphere in the league is a huge reason why he appears so. I mean, who are the best guys James plays against? Durant and Westbrook? The NBA seems much more to be owned by balanced teams than it does by superstars these days. Hell, LeBron even has Wade and Bosh on his own team helping him out. By contrast, Jordan had to play against Barkley, Ewing, Magic, David Robinson (and Tim Duncan for a bit), Karl Malone/John Stockton (MAN were those some good games), ect. Yeah, he had Pippen and Rodman with him, but the guy would just take over games like no other. I don't see that quality in LeBron, but maybe that's just me. He's less of a ball hog than Kobe at this point in his career (I doubt he'll ever even have the CHANCE to put up 80 in a game like Bryant did), but I think in their primes, Kobe might be a better player, too. Let's see how he does entering the back half of his career.
Quote:Or you could have just said you couldn't fine one. Really, why would I go through 3,000 + posts to prove something true that I already know to be true (that you know to be true as well, but now realize how much of a dingbat you sound like)?

Hell, LeBron even has Wade and Bosh on his own team helping him out. Don't forget about those Piston teams and a Portland team with Clyde Drexler, Jerome Kersey and Terry Porter. Seattle with Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton. The NBA was loaded in the 80s and 90s. Today? Not so much as you wisely pointed out. There's a lot of good players today but not a lot of great players.

Quote: What circumstances that I used? The only thing I have said is Andrew Luck (regardless if we think he is "average" or not), led his team to the playoffs in his first 2 seasons in the NFL. I never insisted Luck was "elite" either, I said I would have a "average" Luck over Gabbert/Henne on my team. That is what my post means, so dont piss in your cornflakes because your so called "tommy hate group", or whatever you perceive it to be, is calling you out. As for the "fan banter" excuse, if you would have threw Irsay under the bus, then you would have given you 50% credibility. Face it, you created a thread that caused yourself to make a attempt to save face because of your "feelings" about the organization, which turned into a Luck bashing, made zero sense. Quote:At this point in his career, Lebron is a better all around player in my opinion. Will he sustain greatness like MJ did? We'll see. The only thing(s) Lebron has over Jordan is size, and cupcake defensive rules (when he is on offense) ie no handchecking, defensive 3 seconds. Quote:I guess Tommy could ask you the same thing. So having a different POV is considered "stirring a argument"? Really? You are right, im not living in your "reality" because we live 2 totally different worlds with 2 totally different mindsets. You must take every dialog we've had (disagreements) very personal. I bet you cant even remember the stuff we agree on because you are so focused (and closed minded) on the disagreements we've had. Can you even challenge yourself to do that?

And did I not say I'd rather have Luck on my team than Gabbert/Henne? Because I did. so I have no idea what you're arguing with me for other than you wanting to jump into the thread and start an argument, because we have pretty much the same exact stance on the subject. Are you that slow? Did you even read my posts? Fan banter is not my excuse, simply because I don't need one. That's exactly what this thread is and if you had some common sense you'd realize that. Quote:Why would I tell you where I go to school? LOL. Quote:Yes, you are. Quote:I'm 23. Quote:Your organization sucks. Get used to it. Quote:HAHA. The funny thing is, you're probably going to end up 3rd in the division. The future looks very good for the Jaguars and Texans. The Colts? HAHAHHA. If you keep dealing your 1st round pick for overrated role players you're going to sink very fast my friend. Our front office is 10x better than yours.

Quote:I certainly don't see how you've improved outside of the QB position, LB, and WR. That's it. Quote:I'm not a troll. My argument was based on pure facts, and I'm not the only one who thinks you guys haven't improved much under Grigson and Andrew Luck is an average QB at the moment. It's your choice to either recognize that or just blindly deny it.

Quote:You're an imbecile plain and simple. Quote:Stats = facts. Cry about it. Quote:And? Do stats not directly tell you how a player performs? Quote:11 wins = not elite. Quote:Nobody. LOL. I guess Luck not being elite means I'd rather have Gabby/Henne.
