Quote:I didn't say tampering, screwing up doesn't have to equal tampering. You didn't, others did. Quote:2:35 for those who need further explanation.. And I'm sure Willie Meggs knows TONS more about this case than any of us could imagine.. It's all a conspiracy. This girl is clearly a victim here. Quote:It's all a conspiracy. This girl is clearly a victim here.Sadly we won't know the answer to that question based on the crappy work of the Tally P.D. They let both Winston and the girl down in this whole situation

Quote:Again, my allegiance is to the proven innocent.. If your opinion of Winston is that he's guilty, that's your prerogative.. But what you think, and what he is now, are two different things.. You do realize that he hasn't been proven innocent right? Guilty or not guilty, the only thing that's happened is that he hasn't been charged with anything. He can blame the TPD for that...

Quote:You do realize that he hasn't been proven innocent right? Guilty or not guilty, the only thing that's happened is that he hasn't been charged with anything. If they have lack of evidence and drop the charges, he's innocent. If not, they would have charged him.
The ONLY way to call the man guilty is to bring him to court and convict him.. If not, he's free and clear..
Quote:If they have lack of evidence and drop the charges, he's innocent. If not, they would have charged him. It doesn't mean you're innocent. It means you weren't charged. If I kill you and leave no evidence of it, does that mean I'm innocent of killing you?

Quote:The ONLY way to call the man guilty is to bring him to court and convict him.. If not, he's free and clear.. And yet...that has nothing to do with being innocent.

Quote:And yet...that has nothing to do with being innocent. Ok. Prove him guilty then.. I'm sure Willie Meggs would love some inside info on this case.. I got accused for something a while back and there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute me either.. I guess that means I'm still guilty even though I didn't do it..
Quote:Ok. Prove him guilty then.. I'm sure Willie Meggs would love some inside info on this case.. I'm not saying he's guilty. I'm not even just talking about this case. Being charged with a crime doesn't make you guilty, and not being charged doesn't make you innocent.

Quote:I'm not saying he's guilty. I'm not even just talking about this case. Being charged with a crime doesn't make you guilty, and not being charged doesn't make you innocent. So what is he then? In legal limbo? Same as me?
So since I was accused of something I didn't do and was let go for a lack of evidence, i'll never be innocent..

Quote:So what is he then? In legal limbo? Same as me? He is presumed innocent. Period. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato
Quote:It doesn't mean you're innocent. It means you weren't charged. Yes, in fact, you are innocent right up until a jury delivers a guilty verdict. Until that time you are innocent, even if you did it. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Quote:It doesn't mean you're innocent. It means you weren't charged. You are crazy. There was plenty of evidence. All of it, including the samples the Florida Gator crime lab thought would drill Winston came back empty, exonerated Jameis Winston. Eleven months of nothing. Not a single peep. Then two weeks before the Gators faced off with Florida State they cry rape. You're not only crazy, but sadly misguided by the media. You think the New York Times brand name makes things different? The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on....

Quote:Thus the saying "innocent until proven guilty".. Your understanding of the legal system is completely warped. That does not mean anyone is ever proved innocent. All people are assumed to be innocent and they have to be proved guilty. No court in the history of the civilized world has ever proved anyone innocent of anything, that's not what they do. Before you jump in with your ridiculous paranoia with your bla bla, you're calling Winston guilty, actually read what I've written. Quote:Just to be different, Bortles. Quote:I'm not saying he's guilty. I'm not even just talking about this case. Being charged with a crime doesn't make you guilty, and not being charged doesn't make you innocent. Then what are you saying? You criticize people view points yet you still have not said yours. |
