Quote:Oh really? You don't think Teddy will be one of the greatest QBs of all time? Bold statement *slowclaps* I don't even think he'll be one of the greatest backups of all time.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

If he wore gloves at his Pro Day we're not even having this discussion cause he'd be going first overall to Houston

If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

how many super bowls have sec quarter backs won in last 30 years
And cause I was a gazillionaire, and I liked doin it so much, I cut that grass for free.
Insinuating that ANY QB will never be successful, simply because they are from the SEC, is so ridiculous, that now I'm a firm believer that some people really are completely Bridgewater Blind.. Completely brainwashed.. Carry on with the Teddy love..

don't get me wrong the sec is great but its not the end all be all. l like jf also, I keep defending him at work. the good things is i'm defending him against other players i'm excited about. I have no idea if any of these players will work out. im am just going to try to enjoy the ride. also the answer is two, if you don't count Russell Wilson. it just feels good to be a jags fan again.

In this years draft, in my opinion as far as QB's go, it is..
that's the point exactly the conference doesn't matter. your no more likely to win the super bowl if you played for sec or the mac.

He prances and doesn't drive of his back leg. His offense schemed open receivers, and they did their job helping out.

Bridgewater is not going to be our pick at number three overall. He's not even rated as the best QB anymore. He's falling fast. If we've learned anything with our history, we need to stay away from QB's in RD1, and take the BAP on the board. Taking Leftwich resulted in us missing out on Suggs. Taking Gabbert resulted in us missing out on J.J Watt. Let that sink in for a minute..... missed out on two PRO-BOWL caliber pass-rushers literally one-pick after we took a garbage/average QB. Even more funny is that, when you consider the QB prospects the following year, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Ben Roethilsberger in 2004 and Andrew Luck and RGIII in 2012, maybe our pass rusher is there for the taking this year in 2014, and our franchise QB is there for us in 2015.
We're potentially in the same situation/scenario again. We should take Clowney or Mack at number three, and get a QB in RD2 if it feels right. As much as I hate our QB play. The one thing I cannot stand, is potentially finishing dead last in total defensive sacks this year for the third straight time. We haven't had a decent pass-rusher off the edge since Brackens. That's pathetic. Right now, the defensive prospects outweigh the offensive prospects in RD1 this year. RD2 is better suited for a QB. Especially when you look at this QB class and really the word "potential" gets thrown around A LOT more than the word "elite". Bridgewater and Bortles have "potential", Manziel has "intangibles". I don't want to risk the number three overall selection on a QB labeled like that. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Quote:that's the point exactly the conference doesn't matter. your no more likely to win the super bowl if you played for sec or the mac. Peyton.. Tennessee Brady.. Michigan Eli.. Mississippi Brees.. Purdue Roethlisberger.. (Miami Ohio and one of the few) Rodgers.. California Rivers.. NC State Wilson.. Wisconsin Favre.. Southern Miss Warner.. (University Northern Iowa) McNabb.. Syracuse Young.. BYU Aikman.. Oklahoma Montana.. Notre Dame Esiason.. Maryland Kelly.. UM Moon.. Washington Marino.. Pitt Simms.. (Morehead State) Elway.. Stanford Fouts.. Oregon I can keep going.. Do you see a correlation with those? The chances of getting a good QB from a small school are SLIM.. You guys and this Gene Smith way of thinking.. Just wow..
I really hope we do not draft this guy. Would hate to see Bridgewater cost Gus Bradley his job. Bridgewater couldnt even start in the Arena league with that joke of an arm he has.
