If Caldwell asked you to pick the first quarterback we draft...

Who are you taking - and in what round are you planning on taking him?

Personally, I would take Carr - and I would be willing to trade back into the lower middle part of the first round to get him.

What about you?

I take the best value QB I can get later in the draft with my multiple 4th and 5th round picks and build the roster early. It's not popular but I wouldn't mind going Mack and then taking the best guard on the board in round 2.

I'd take the gamble on Manziel

Teddy or Johnny depending on whether we wanted a pocketpasser or a dualthreat

I was going to say something else, but I like your idea better.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

I'd take Clowney or Mack with the first pick.  See how things are going as the 1st round passes by and if Bridgwater or Manziel are still around by picks  30-35 then possibly trade up with the 2nd to take either of them.

I'm more and more torn between Bridgewater and Bortles. Bortles has the physical measurables of a classic dropback passer, which is what Caldwell had in both Indy and Atlanta. Given that both players will need time on the bench anyway, I'm almost inclined to go with the guy who has a higher ceiling over the guy who has a higher floor.

Almost, but not quite. Bridgewater at three. His stock isn't "falling" any more than Savage's is "rising". It's just the media doing what it does best: being about six weeks behind the eight-ball and inventing stories where there really are none. I'd love to trade back and get him a few picks later, but if we can't, Bridgewater at three.

I'd consult the Jacksonville Jaguars MB as this question has been asked an ad infinitum variety of ways and answered by most an ad infinitum variety of ways.

There's been previous discussion about which QB Jacksonville should draft?  Surely you jest.

I would have to see who's available as the draft progresses, but it would be in the second round at the earliest, quite possibly into the third.  There's no QB worth # 3 in this draft.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

This is such a loaded question. Unfortunately there is just not a clear #1 QB in this draft, as evidenced by all the different opinions of who should be the first QB taken.

Basically you want to know which QB in this draft will turn out to be the best of them all. That's just a tough question to answer.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

I have to agree with this, there's not a QB in this draft worthy of the #3 pick IMO.

Watching the game, having a bud.  True.  True.

And you know what else?  There has also been just a little bit of discussion on what round the Jaguars should draft said QB.

I know, I know.......silly talk,

KY, why would we take Teddy at 3 LOL, trade down first atleast.

I rolled on the floor laughing, With all those missed reads in the pocket Manziel had to improvise. If he had just stuck to the play book (or just be Teddy Bridgewater) A&M would have been in the National Title hunt late

Because I am not convinced that he gets by the Browns, Raiders, and Vikings.
