<div>ESPN QBR a good prediction for the NFL Draft?
According to ESPN’s new QBR metric, Manziel sported a 88.3 ranking, the highest out of any quarterback in this years draft. In 2012 Manziel led all quarterbacks in QBR rankings. Signifigance?

Well Pat McManamon of ESPN revealed that every player that led the nation from 2008 to 2011 is currently an NFL starter.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

Despite his recent drop on some boards, Bridgewater's accuracy is still the best of the best amongst the prospects.

Teddy's size and weight is still a concern to some.

Quote:<div>Bridgewater measured in at 6-foot-2 and 214 pounds at the NFL Combine. At his pro day, he was six pounds lighter at 208 pounds.

There are only five active NFL quarterbacks who are listed at 208 pounds or lighter. Of those five, only Russell Wilson is a starter.

Bridgewater also has the smallest hands (9.25’’) of any of the top QB prospects. There have been 39 quarterbacks since 2008 who have had a hand size of 9.25’’ or smaller at the NFL combine. Of those players, only 18 percent have started half of an NFL season (eight games) and none have made the Pro Bowl.

Hand Size Data since 2008 Combine
Below 9.25"-39 players
Average Draft [BLEEP]: 145
Pct Start 8 Gms-18%
NFL win pct- .403

Above 9.88"-36 players
Average Draft [BLEEP]: 85
Pct Start 8 Gms-31%
NFL win pct- .478

Manziel to the Rams? Geez, hopefully not.

Quote:“Take what you will with this, but this is out there,” Jeremiah said via Bryan Fischer of NFL.com. “(NFL personnel) are saying there’s legitmate interest between the Rams and Johnny Manziel. There’s at least buzz in personnel circles saying do not rule out Johnny Manziel to St. Louis.”

The Rams hold both the second and 13th overall picks.

“I don’t know if that’s a scenario where he drops all the way to 13 or if they will have the guts to take him with the second overall pick,” Jeremiah said. “I’m just telling you that’s out there, and some people believe it’s a real possibility.”

Lol....cracks me up people keep knocking TB for his size yet nothing is ever said about JM being barely 6 ft.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.

The Rams are tweaking Cleveland.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

yeah it sounds weird. I think it's more about the height-to-weight 'ratio' tho.

Manziel and Bridgewater are almost the same weight, right around that 208 range, but MAnziel is 5'11 while Teddy is a bit over 6'2. This would mean that Teddy is more lanky. And that if Manziel were 6'2, with his same body mass, he'd likely weigh closer to 225.

Manziel would be considered by a doctor as the 'ideal' weight, probably even a bit 'heavy' for his height. Teddy would likely be considered a bit 'underweight' at 207 at 6'2.

Does that make sense? RG3 at his combine, for comparisons sake, was measured 6'2 like Teddy, but he was also 223 pounds.

Still not a big enough deal to pull him down my board. I look at play not measurables. Manziel's too short, Bridgewater's too skinny. I'd still take them both at #3.
