Would Khalil Mack in the top 5 feel like a "Gene Smith type of pick"?

Bingo

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The numbers and values are in the links provided.

Do not accuse me of falsehoods, I've done nothing to deserve such treatment.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

There is so much stupid in this thread that I demand someone should pay a fine.

I really think Mack will be the pick if Clowney's gone, which he will be.  I could see Watkins too, but with Bradley at the helm and the deep receiving crop coming out this year, it will be way easier getting a good receiver than a good pass rusher later in the draft.  Pass rusher is too valuable and much needed here.

That was probably due to me being here. I tend to have that affect on a group.

Its not as unlikely as you think if the Texans take Clowney. Use your head.

ok, well, I have seen Mack's numbers listed lower over the past several months, and I could have sworn I also remember Ware's numbers higher than those listed. Maybe you just picked the right site for your side of the argument.

Is it possible, maybe....but not likely.  We have way too many other holes other than tackle. The coaches have talked about how good Pasztor was last year, and even Boselli/Lageman agreed.

My guess is we go either Mack/Watkins and possibly jump back into the first round to get our qb.  I would be happy with either.

What about the QB?....

I guess the chances are unlikely we'll pick one of those at 3, too....lol

Gene Smith picked bad players. Mack is a good player. So, no.

You're right, I dont think we'll pick a qb at 3.  You can't say that I'm wrong, its an opinion.

You don't pass on a Tackle the level of Matthews (with the type of pass rushers the Texans would have after a Clowney selection)....because you have a player like Pazstor, at RT, lol. He really wasn't as good as some tried to spin it. He was absolutely horrible in run blocking and was serviceable at pass blocking. Lets stop acting like we found the next Leon Searcy there with Pazstor.

Who said he was a Searcy type player?  They basically said he is a good enough right tackle that you can worry about other positions.

I really think you believe what you say, which is scary.  You just make things up and run with it.

If you are okay with Pazstor blocking for you after a Texans selection of Clowney, then one would almost have to have believed that Pazstor is the next Searcy level talent, otherwise you'd be going into a gunfight with a pen knife.

Its not making things up, its simple deduction.
