Interesting idea but man he would be expensive in cap costs according to that article.

What do you ladies and gents think?  Suh and 1.10 to move up to 1.3?

Just curious...but why?  We would be in the same spot the Lions are in minus the dead money...

No way for that price. Is the guy even on the field as much as he's suspended these days?

We would only have to pay the 12.5 but still not worth it.  I wouldnt want him if they gave him to us.  Not worth the money, overrated, headache, and cancer for our young locker room.  No thx, I would rather Nick Fairley.

Say they were to sign him to a long term deal...what would you place his value at?

For a team that's close to a superbowl, he's more valuable because he could be that piece that puts them over the top.  So a 2nd rounder or so.  For us, I would maybe trade a 3rd, but only if he had a longterm contract.  I don't want him at all if he's just on a one-year deal. One year rentals don't interest me.

An impact WR is way more valuable than Suh, which is why the Lions want to trade up.

Screw that, we should take Sammy at #3 then later offer then a 4th and 5th for Suh just for the lulz

If we get Suh they should give us atleast a mid round pick.  They get rid of the over paid contract and the headache/locker room cancer.

As long as Suh agrees to see a psychiatrist and gets a rabies shot, maybe..

If the Lions are serious about winning in 2014,  which has been a dominant theme since Jim Schwartz was fired,   Ndamukong Suh won't be traded in 2014.   There's no rookie that can provide the high level caliber play that an experienced Suh can.    Suh has been extremely durable.

Considering that Nick Fairley hasn't been durable or dependable,   it makes keeping Suh that much more important.   To the extent that G.M. Martin Mayhew elected not to exercise Fairley's 2015 option,  in order to motivate Fairley to consistently play to his potential.    With Suh,  though he needs to be with his teammates in the off-season program,  it's not because of conditioning.   Suh comes to camp each year in terrific shape and it reflects in his durability.

He'd have to sign a new deal and the Lions would still have to give me their first pick for me to do that.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.

RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I'd pass on that. Why trade for Suh when Clowney is in the draft? I don't see why DET is looking to trade one of their best players if they believe they are a Super Bowl team. They won't be asking for mid level picks either.

The Jags need impact players, and Suh, still only 27, is definitely one of them.  However, the Jags don't need a 1 year player at an over-market $12.5m salary.  I would do a trade down deal, but only if Suh were to agree in advance of the trade to a LT deal.

I know Suh and Marks in the middle would instantly make whatever combo of DE's we started jobs that much easier.

He is a beast of a player and maye a change of scenery and a good helping of Gus Juice would be just what he needed. I could see him and Gus actually jiving quite well actually as weird as that seems. Gus likes passion for the game and high motor drive which Suh has he just needs to learn what it takes to be a consistent professional on the field.  I personally dont hink he is a locker room "cancer" as i feel that is overused by ESPN bigwigs who themselves arent in the actual lockerroom and only get small snips here and there from player interviews.

Coming here with Clemons,Red Bryant , and Poz 3 hard working pro's who know how to prepare and carry themselves as pros and leaders in the locker room would help IMO.

IF and i say IF caldwell did this trade of Suh + #10 for our #3 with Suh knowing he will be resigned to a more cap friendly longterm deal and that being a condition of the trade then i wouldnt argue with it.

I'd take Suh in a heartbeat
