There's quite a few posters on the board whose opinions I value highly, if you take the time to vet what they say, it's clear pretty quickly who throws crap and who knows what they're talking about.

Good Sir!

I demand an explanation to this affront necessitated! The hammer and tongs of the fellow posters upon this internet message board are of most dire consequence. For aught I know, with a tight scratch and cogitations, risibility shall be claimed in brute force by langrage. Heed thy brother's vexation as he betokens rectitude..

yeah that was kind of the idea behind it. And I wasn't surprised by your answer, I can tell by your opinions that you must have watched a lot. You know what you're talking about.

For me, the 3 biggest statements i hear where I can tell right away that someone didn't watch much.

1)Thinks all Manziel does is run around in circles every play then throw it up for grabs(what they're really saying-"I've only seen his craziest plays compilation on youtube")

2)Thinks Bridgewater is not a good QB(what they're really saying-"I have never actually watched a full game of Teddy in my life")

3)Thinks Clowney doesn't have passion for playing(what they're really saying-"I didn't see a single play of his last year, where he was double and tripled team all season, every game, every down")

I could keep going on with this, but you get my point jinjo

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

I'm now officially honored to have started this thread. I haven't ever laughed so hard on these boards. You and pirkster have me rolling on the floor. I literally post on these forums waiting for posts like yours to come up.

Draftbreakdown is a wonderful site. I have seen all games for the top 10 picks that are on there.

Live I watch Auburn when they are on which was prime time last year.

Also watch Alabama and Florida when I can.

Manziel was the most exciting player by a freaking mile so I tried to catch him when I could

Yeah but, you explicitly stated full games in season. Using those parameters as a barometer for draft knowledge is silly IMO. That's like saying a GM only has knowledge of prospects he watched full in season games of which would clearly never be the case. Nobody can watch everybody live in season.

Or who would Bortles bear to grunt and sweat under a heavy pass rush, must give us pause...

Ah, there's the rub, for in that sack of death what dream becomes a speeding dial to the tractor, a Todd, a plow man?

Nay. The Jake take is a consummation devoutly to be.

A pox on you, uncouth codwilly. For once I took gander upon this correspondence I smelt the rat. Perchance your quarrel with us sawney is beyond the pale and harrowed up as most feel hampered in your native tongue of chafe.

I say, good day ragamuffin as thou perfumed stench of stale cordial and tractor beam is thy odor of choosings..

You're totally right tlb. I'm not saying that if someone didn't watch full games of a player every week they don't know anything about him. I just had the 'full game' and 'during season' parameter to ensure 1 of 2 things.

1)That highlights or even just 30-minutes of a game wasn't enough to truly evaluate a player.

2)Sometimes going back and watching tape 'after the season', you already have your mind made up about a player. Either you like him and are looking to validate your opinion, or don't like him are going back to find negative evidence on him.

For me personally, 90% of the games I watched were not for 'scouting purposes' at all. I just like college football in general. It helps tho now, looking back, getting to see some of this year's prospects in the process and remembering how they played. Before the media spin/combine/etc, and before my opinions were already settled on them.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.
