Yesterday it read "Paul McCarthy" in the quote I responded to. Thats why I posted what I did.

I come back today and its corrected, without it saying "edit".

As said, it must be one of those administrator things.

Quote:I had the opportunity to meet Sir Paul and subsequently see him again a number of times.  When he was still courting his current wife he would stay at a particular hotel in NYC when he came to spend time with her.  I was performing in the hotel bar regularly at that time. he would come in for a cocktail - wait to the end of our set and come up to greet the band.  Super kind and friendly.

We had the occasion to sit and have a drink with him one night and enjoyed hearing a few stories, anecdotes and pearls of wisdom about the music business.  I'll never forget the night he entered the room from the door behind my performing position  - he snuck up behind me and goosed me in the ribs!  Imagine my surprise when I turned expecting a hotel staffer or close friend and locked eyes with McCartney!

That is pretty damn awesome
