Jaguars Dream Draft

#1
(This post was last modified: 04-26-2014, 07:10 PM by PortDawgJags808.)

This would be my dream draft for the Jaguars first 5 picks:

1st rd:  Jadeveon Clowney, DE.  Texans decide to go QB and the Rams trade plans fail and Clowney slips to the Jags.  Score!

2nd rd:  Teddy Bridgewater, QB.  GM's fall for the media hype and Bridgewater slips to the Jags in the 2nd rd.  Score again!

3rd rd:  Allen Robinson, WR.  With the depth of WR in this year's draft, Robinson slips to round 3.  Great pick!

4th rd:  Weston Richburg, C.  Jaguars need a center and get a steal in Richburg in the  4th rd.  Solid!

4th rd:  Tre Mason, RB.  Jaguars need a change of pace back for Gerhart and draft Mason with their second 4th rd pick.  Nice!

The theme of the Jaguars draft so far is slip, slip, slip.  Maybe unrealistic but who knows.  Your thoughts?

It is a dream. The only one of your picks who will be available at the identified spot is Robinson. I'd be fine with him in the 3rd.

Even he could go late 2nd....

Not a Brodgewater fan and would rather have Manziel slide to us in the second, but this draft would have me excited either way

Dream darft:

1. Sammy Watkins - game changing WR that will put up some points.

1b. Khalil Mack - OLB that provides a nasty presence to the defense. We got this draft pick from Atlanta just because they like the look on our face. Plus, I don't want to choose between those two

2. Kyle Van Noy - ILB that solidifies the spot for years.

3. Marcus Martin - Center man!

4. Sidney Moncrief, WR

4b. Aaron Murray
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

So you honestly don't think Clowney can slip to the third pick?  If the Texans decide to go QB or even Mack, I think there is a very good chance that Clowney can slip to the Jags. Just my opinion.

Id be cool with people slipping and us picking them in the right place or for a bargain even.

All of those picks have the highest potential to bust that is a terrible draft

hehehe, the media hype was Teddy a top ten pick, the media is just catching up, scouts have always felt like teddy is a round 2 guy.

I rolled on the floor laughing, With all those missed reads in the pocket Manziel had to improvise. If he had just stuck to the play book (or just be Teddy Bridgewater) A&M would have been in the National Title hunt late

You lost all credibilty with the Texans not taking Clowney.

Actually, the media hype right now is that he is a late first rounder or second round pick.

There are recent articles stating that Texans are still mulling over drafting a QB.  Also, there is interest in Khalil Mack with the first pick.  Whether they are smokescreens or not, who knows.

Well... at least there's punctuation in it! And bulletted points! That's gotta count for something.
