I'm surprised at the rate of progress, especially in the NEZ. Looks like they have foundations poured and are putting in the new levels already.

The contractor is under some serious time constraints. They want the bulk of the work done by June, so they're busting tail to make that happen.  I was skeptical they'd get there, but the progress so far is pretty amazing.

I just noticed some extra ironwork on top of the south end zone skeleton.  Could that be looking ahead for when the concept shade is built over the stadium?

 

That extra is not on any concept artwork out there.

I doubt it. They look more like lighting support, or platforms to mount the EverBank signage on.

I was at the Suns game last Wednesday afternoon and walked over the area outside the SEZ to get a look at them in person. Driving by you realize how big they are. But standing under them, they are intimidating. Just absolutely gigantic.

Finally got a chance to drive by the stadium yesterday evening, and like others have said, the pictures just don't do the size of those scoreboards justice. It is going to be awesome.
