Am I the only one that doesn't "fear" the clots?

I predict 7-9 for the Colts this year.

If they finish better than that do you promise to never post on this board again?

Quote:Umm.. so because we got TRich as our first pick this year you think you are going to better? Oh wow. Boy are you in for a shocker.

Also, yes I feel like it's definitely possible. Multiple key pieces are coming back healthy on offense. I'm still a little worried about our defensive secondary, however. Much better than what Jags seem to be working with year in and year out...

I didn't say you trading for crap players at non premium positions makes us better, but it sure as hell doesn't help you. Also, by extension of having to play a team twice with Trent Richardson as starting RB, rather than a player worthy of a 1st round pick, our schedule is a little easier than it would have been.

For you to improve on 1 and done, either Luck needs to become a drag the team along by the balls elite QB or you need to fill some holes. I don't see either happening this year.

I don't fear them, but then again, I don't consider Jacksonville to be real contenders until they have a QB.

I think they'll bring in two of those this draft. Hopefully one of them pans out and is able to start in 2015 and perform at a strong level. Apart from the QB, I feel Jacksonville is building a strong overall roster and will continue to do so this draft and next off season.

All that being said, anything can happen on gameday.

Whats hard to get.

Colts + Trent Richardson = Pretty good team.

Colts + Actual 1st round quality football player = Better team.

I'm sorry, you won the pop Warner AFC south, then beat Alex Smith's KC, then got whooped by a legitimate elite team... Because you are not elite... Not even close... Because your QB is nothing special... And you don't draft well enough to make up the shortfall.

Clearly none of this bothers you.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

So no matter what I respond with I'm "bothered" and "upset". Diesel, is that you?

You're silly.

You seem more bothered than I.

PS: @ Mr. Sensible - I've never said the Colts have an elite team or perfect. I don't know why everyone keeps saying that to me lol.

I will say this, I think Jaguar fans are more comfortable at the position we are at than the Colts fans are.

We know are team hasn't been very good and most normal people aren't expecting playoffs or anything better than 8-8 (8-8 is seriously stretching for this year.)

Colts fans got used to the Manning years and having a qb so good that even if the players around him weren't very good, he pulled them up with him.  I like Luck and would love for him to be the Jags qb, but I don't know if he'll ever even come close to Manning level.  You guys expect to make the playoffs and make a push for the Super Bowl.

I will go as far to say that top to bottom, our rosters are not very far apart.  The only difference is at qb, and if the Jags draft right, that gap will close quickly.

Do you give any actual factual information in your post? Or are you just going to keep throwing insults because you know nothing about football?

What was actually dumb?  What I said is the truth.  Of course Jaguar fans at the beginning of the year think they are going to be a little better than they end up being, but Colt fans think they have an amazing roster.  You dont.

I thought I was done posting for the day until I saw this.

For the most part I agree except for the bolded part, you're just dead wrong in that "analysis". Colts fans are beyond happy to have the team that we have (heck, 1 "rebuild" year and right back to the playoffs? Some teams stay in "rebuild" mode for 5+ years). Also, there will be no closed gap if you don't get a QB. You need that first & foremost. You can have the best player in every position & have a bad QB and not finish above .500.

I've given you nothing but facts. You're blinded by your fandom and it's actually pretty funny.

Nobody ran me out of any thread.. KFC said I was a "liar," because a post I thought was in the same thread we were posting in was actually in a different thread. Nobody ran me out of anything.

I've linked you to Andrew Luck's Total Qb Rating 3 times, and he is 18th out of 32.

Are those not facts?
