It's Mack or Sammy at #3, right?

Quote:LOL, that is seriously the only report you have isn't it? Classic.

"There's been more that suggest Matthews or Bridge than any other" my [BAD WORD REMOVED].

I've heard it mentioned several times over the past week or so (the Matthews possibility).

I know you and the club are pretty much stomping your feet and sticking your fingers in your ears because you want Mack or Watkins and thats it, or else tantrum, but I think Caldwell knows the value of a top notch OL and he's even said over his tenure that before we get the QB he wants to make sure many of the pieces are in place for him to succeed. A quote like that suggests that picking someone like Matthews is something he'd indeed consider.

Quote:Guarantee you that Sammy will have more TDs than Blackmon did in his rookie year. More yards too.

And at this point, Sammy will have a longer career too.

So, because someone has mentioned Matthews and the Jaguars, that means that he is the favorite from outsiders for the Jaguars? lol. We just brought him on a visit not long ago, so obviously your going to hear people mention his name with us.

It's funny, because you keep signaling to a "Mack/Watkins group" and yet your sitting here doing the same thing except for Matthews or a QB...hypocritical much? Everyone has there favorites and guys they don't want to get drafted.

Pasztor was very solid last year and will only get better from here, so let's replace him and move him elsewhere where he's not guarunteed to have as much success...or we can draft a projected #1 WR or a defensive player that can rush the passer and do literally everything well and be a 3 down player.

And if he doesn't draft a tackle in the first, you'll have months of schtick to bury us with.

Yeah, he says how we will stomp our feet for Watkins/Mack, watch what he does when we draft one of them. All we're going to hear for 3 months on how their terrible, bad value, not talented enough, etc.

So funny at this point.

I think some people got a bit carried away with what Pasztor gave us last year. When you consider most of the opponents we played by the time he was put into the ORT spot was the easy part of the schedule, and even then he wasn't that good at all in run blocking....

IMO, Pasztor is a nice swing OL, backup/ etc, can start in a pinch....much like Ben Coleman. To count on him as a significant starter on the OL would be foolish.

yawn,

Matthews

Bridgewater

Manziel

Clowney

I'd be happy with any of the above 4 at pick 3, so just shut up with the above lie.

I have not seen anyone except a few posters on BCC who have the Jags picking an OT.

It will NEVER happen. Khan would fire Caldwell two seconds later if he picked another OT.

Well, it surely doesn't sound like that's what Caldwell and Bradley think of him in their responses about the guy, and he surely didn't look like a future backup RT last year, not like he gets to pick who he goes up against. He handled Watt pretty well from what I remember, or at least as much as you can hope to handle him.

You don't honestly think this board is dumb enough NOT to see through your schtick?

No matter who they pick, you're setting the table to have your usual whinapalooza.

He'd fire Caldwell for picking BAP, a need, (ORT) and a guy (Matthews) who has the realistic chance of being one of the premier RT's of the sport for the next 10-15 years??

If Khan feels that way, (which I don't think he does, btw) then Caldwell wouldn't be the problem.

So, a RT, a guy that by all accounts won't be their at 3, or a QB, which our GM was just ragging on them in an interview. So yeah, seems about right, and a quality list to set up to rag on your so called "team" for then next 4 months or so.

Who says Matthews is the BAP at three?

Others see it as well, so I guess this board is riddled with people who have filters allowing them to see through the typical glittery bovine excrement.

He mentions four guys.

One (Clowney) that will be gone.

One (Bridgewater) that there is zero chance will be the third pick.

One (Matthews) that is extremely unlikely to be an option.

It's basically Manziel or bust.

He's going hot and heavy as anti-Watkins and anti-Mack because those two are certainly the most likely picks.

It's the same game we see every offseason.

Ha, you got it in as I was typing.

If he were any more transparent, he'd be a window.

It's just dumb. He wonders why people rag on him all the time, well here you have it.

Yes, because an average sized, mostly screen pass receiver and a tiny schooled LB is just a much better list for 3rd overall.....lol

There is a point in the first round where I'd be on board with either of Watkins or Mack.....but it ain't 3rd, overall.
