Quote:I could see Houston selecting Mack......and regretting it later, hahahaha Okay, let's suppose Houston selects Mack. Now St Louis is on the clock. Would you try to trade up one spot for Clowney, and if so, how much would you give in the trade? Quote:I could see Houston selecting Mack......and regretting it later, hahahahaThey'd definitely regret it, Clowney is the best talent without a doubt in this class...but Mack is going to be an absolute stud. There's a reason why scouts love him and most project him in the top 3-5...he's an elite talent and there is nothing he can't do. Good in coverage, very good pass rusher, etc. He is going to be a hell of a player. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I think we'd have to give too much, but with our abundance of picks, I wouldn't rule it out. Most reports have indicated we covet Clowney.

St.Louis is going to be asking for a lot just like we would be asking for a lot if Clowney was on the board. Houston takes Mack and then hopefully Rams stay put and take Robinson. This is the best case scenerio for us. Hou- Mack STL- Robinson ATL- Clowney Cleveland- Watkins Oak- Matthews Jax- Manziel Manziel then Jordan Matthews in the 2nd plus we get ATL #1 next year and their 2nd rounder this year. How much would YOU give up to move up one spot for Clowney?I personally don't know man, I really don't. I don't like playing GM and making fake trades and such, if we or someone else make that deal, we will see come draft time. Quote:How. Much. How much would YOU give up to move up one spot for Clowney?A 3 and a 5 would be my limit. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Quote:good luck convincing him of that.!Yeah, I know he hates Mack, but there's a reason why he is for the most part alone on his assumption of him. He's a great talent. There is no denying it unless your just too far in on being set on him sucking, which is obviously not the case.

My heart says Watkins just because he is so much fun to watch but my brain says to take make and enjoy his pass rushing presence.

Quote:My heart says Watkins just because he is so much fun to watch but my brain says to take make and enjoy his pass rushing presence. Watkins would be the kind of explosiveness we need and add to our offensive scheme which is shifting towards speed with Ace and Robinson. I just feel like we could grab some later pass rushers because of Gus. He got production out of Andre Branch and Ryan Davis. Van Noy comes to mind for the second round. This could go either way. If we draft the pass rusher (Mack), Gus would use him well and a later receiver like Norwood, Ellington, etc. would work well with Sullivan. Either way I think we are in a very good position to get better.

Quote: A 3 and a 5 would be my limit. No way would I want the Jags doing that. I'd be willing to offer the one 5th rounder and thats about it. There is no denying it unless your just too far in on being set on him sucking, which is obviously not the case. Its not that I hate Mack. I hate Mack at 3 or higher. If the Jags can trade down and then Mack falls to their pick and they take him, fine. I think he can be a very good player. I just don't think he'll ever become a star at his position, and when drafting top 5, you gotta get that. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:No way would I want the Jags doing that. Alright, I guess we just have to agree to disagree regarding Mack. I don't think there's anyone that is that much higher talent level wise than Mack. I doubt we can trade down from 3 and him not go to whoever we trade pick 3 too (unless Clowney is there), CLE, OAK, or ATL. There is just no way. Quote:No... You don't trade up. St.Louis is going to be asking for a lot just like we would be asking for a lot if Clowney was on the board. If they wouldn't trade that much to go to 1, what makes you think they would give that to go to three? Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
There's no way on earth you draft a wide receiver project like Watkins at the top of this draft.
Take a look at the track record for using elite picks on WR projects. Mack? Are you crazy? He sucks. Make the Buffalo Bills eat their own cream puff. http://youtu.be/zTPtgf0s4ew Maybe ask Mack if that was a letter "O" in the Bears' end zone or a big, fat zero? He got a really up close look at it @ 0:52 ! ![]() ![]() ![]()
