TMD's Jags Mock

Quote:As I mentioned in a post earlier....I tried to address as much as possible within the 11 picks, and it still seemed hard to address everything. I can see now why Caldwell wants to trade down and have 12-14 picks at his disposal. 11 seems like a lot, but its still not enough.

I can also see why Caldwell is unlikely to take two quarterback in the first four rounds

Quote:No way they take TB at three. Not a chance.

I disagree...I believe/hope the pick at #3 is Teddy or Bortles.

60% of the Time...It works everytime...

Yeah, he's a real "fan" like that.

Doesn't have briefcase hands and run like a Giraffe, either.

Griaffes can actually run quite fast, up to 32.3mph.

Very Gene Smith-esque draft.

Essentially what I said on page 1 comparing it to Gene Smith's 2010 draft.

Every pick would be forgotten a couple of seasons later as no one of impact was landed and everyone selected either ended up as a backup or washes out of the league.

The most memorable part of this draft would be the Gabbert-esque reach for Bridgewater. It would be Caldwell's Waterloo.

Well, he does believe he's the smartest guy on the board. Just ask him.

Didn't really want to trade back too far in this draft but I think San Fran could give up their 1st 2nd and 3rd for the number 3 pick(this would still leave them with a pick in each of the first 3 rounds)so...

Round 1#30. Derek Carr QB

Round2#39. Kony Ealy DE

#56 Jace Amaro TE

Round3#70 Gabe Jackson OG

#77. Kelvin Benjamin WR

Round4#105. Travis Swanson C

#114. Trevor Reilly OLB

Round5#144. Lache Seastrunk RB

#150. Ed Reynolds FS

#159. EJ Gaines CB

Round6#179. Michael Campanaro WR

#205. Josh Mauro DE

Round7#222. Tahj Boyd QB

I'm assuming TMD gave his approval of Shorts and Ace as the #1 and #2 since we opted for a backup TE in round 2 and ignored the WR position until pick number 3,824 ---- [BLEEP] Niklas in the top of Round 2

5. Troy Niklas, Notre Dame: Should have stayed in school another year after a decent 2013. With just 37 receptions in his college career and some struggles as a pass blocker he needs time to develop. He struggled with Aaron Donald when Donald moved out to end. He also had some problems with Stanford's Trent Murphy. Late third-round pick.

That analysis is kind of funny. Struggled against a potential top 10 pass rushing defensive tackle and a second round pass rusher one on one as a tight end??? You don't say!

Shows you TMDs brilliant logic.

He doesn't want Sammy at #3 because the draft is littered with good receivers.

What does he do in his mock draft? Ignore the WR position for all intents and purposes.

They probably don't have good builds. I would have ignored it as well.

Exactly what I noticed lol.

And the fact that he is listing a wasting a pick on a SVSU WR is a joke. Not only is SVSU a Division 2 program up here in Michigan, but they aren't even the best Division 2 program in the state lol.

You do realize he has absolutely no idea who Jeff Janis is, right? Ask him about his evaluation of the player. Ask him what "film" he watched. TMD is nothing but a parrot who knows how to use cut and paste. He found this guy in some mock draft being picked around our spot, and decided to make it appear as if he really did his research. Trust me, he knows ZERO about this player, or any player beyond the 2nd round of his own mock.

Yup. I got that two years ago when he was doing his song and dance and ADMITTED to not watching college football.

It's always about what he thinks will make him appear smarter than he actually is. The best part is that once he formulates a misguided opinion, he'll defend it to the death.
