Sammy Watkins

Quote:Watkins has proven he can take it to the house after the catch. Make big plays just about any time he touches the ball. Win deep, get jump balls...so again how is his frame a concern?

To infer that Watkins build or game is akin to Mega/ Fitz/ Green is laughable.

Quote:The WR's that have been successful drafted in the top 5 all are similar builds/ skill sets.
And it's the same with QB's. Name a top 5 QB that has a small frame that has succeeded in the NFL.... Go ahead.. I'll wait.

Clearly you've got a thing about builds.  Except when it comes to QBs, arguably a far more important position than receiver.  If it's a QB, build is irrelevant, right?

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

BINGO.

Did he say their frames were the same?

If they draft him and he has a similar career to Jimmy Smith, is that a bad pick?

Nobody even inferred it.

Not at all.

Highly doubtful to happen, tho.

The inference/ insinuation was strong. Never claimed he uttered the words verbatim.

Why is it highly doubtful?  Because you say so? Pardon me if I look at any opinion you spout on this board as pure crap.

Still waiting on a Top 5 QB with a small frame that's succeeded in the NFL....

No, you claimed it was inferred.  Now, go look the word up in a dictionary because your attempt to sound smart blew up in your face.

Bridgewater played at 220 his sophomore year, pre jaw surgery. His build won't be a problem as time goes on.

Okay, princess.  If you say so.

Pure crap.

He's still got dainty shoulders and a narrow frame.  220 was not the norm for your beloved Teddy.  It was the exception.  He's a waif, and apparently that's how you like your QBs.

I was replying to your post in which you outlined the things Blackmon can do. Watkins can do those as well, and has the ability to separate deep where Blackmon has struggled.

Quote:You dont find Megatrons every year lol Watkins is and will be very good but he will never be Calvin.
Never said you do, I'm not comparing him to Johnson.

Just a quick look up, I saw Blackmon is 6'1 210 and Watkins is 6'1 211.... sooo.

And haven't you even said that Bridgewater has a slight frame.....

I don't know. Lemme look up QB that were drafted after jaw surgery, which depleted their body weight temporarily, only to regain it later on.

Teddy played at 220 his soph year. He's 6' 2" and a half. Thats pretty close to Aaron Rodgers build right there.

Pre jaw surgery it was the norm for him. That was his weight.
