I'm alright with Manziel at 3 if it happens honestly. We are building a solid OL with Joeckel/Beadles/Pasztor as key building blocks moving forward, and we will have 10 other picks to help the protections/weapons on offense. Gerhart will be better than what we had in the running game last year as well. I think he'll do just fine here, and if we do pick him, just gotta trust Dave. He's knows what he's doing. 

 

I'm thinking a smokescreen right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens. If Jay Glazer says something like this I might give it some credibility, but a Texans beat writer? lol. Even some of the other reports look more like speculation and the whole "he'll sell tickets" argument.

I think it will be an offensive heavy draft regardless.

 

Would not be surprised to see them add 2 WR's, at least 2 offensive linemen. Maybe a tight end.

Alright, but still. I think it's pretty fair to say that it's a solid chance that Clowney and Watkins are their top 2 guys. We want to go offensive heavy, Clowney we covet but he won't make it to 3 and we want more picks not less, etc. Mack sounds less and less likely. This Manziel smoke could be true, but like I said, remember where this smoke is coming from.

Small chance Objective, getting smaller by the hour. I've been told this, not guessing Texans are going Clowney, and Rams would only get Manziel with their second pick at 13. Trade up possible? Mmmm, sure, possible, but not likely. Bucs, Cowboys, etc will stay where they are. Barring Texans and Rams though, it's a done deal.

If we pick Manziel I'm probably not going to make it into work Friday. The draft party will be rocking!

His jersey would sell in record time and record prices... You would see Manziel jerseys everywhere... People who don't care for the Jaguars would be wearing his jersey just because of who he is... I'm not saying he is the right pick at #3 but boy would it be fun.
