How do you buy your Music

ITunes. Whole album 99% of the time.

I get a lot of CDs free, but when I buy music, it's usually via iTunes, and usually only the songs I like.

I picked up "The Legend of Johnny Cash" in the $5 bin at Best Buy a few weeks ago. That was a pretty sweet deal.

How people can stand iTunes is beyond me.   I dropped it for Amazon a year or two ago.   And once I completely stop using my iPods, I'll never open that piece of junk software again, nor buy any of Apple's nonsense.

My wife does buy songs from itunes/other places though. Never the whole thing though.

I am too lazy to go into a best buy type of store for the CD and would rather just purchase it off of itunes (when i do buy music), since most of it is free on you tube

10 years ago or whatever, when I started using iTunes it seemed like the best thing ever. I think every version since then has been a downgrade though. If I kept up with technology a little better I would probably switch to something else.

Both Apple and Microsoft have been sitting on their laurels for years, and these days they both completely suck.

I rarely buy music. Maybe a few songs a year off iTunes.

 

Usually it's Pandora for me. Or podcasts on TuneIn.

I stream my music on Spotify in my car, at home and at work.  $10 a month for access to nearly every song in exsistence... can't beat it.

This. Although I will by a vinyl LP once in a great while because I don't care what they say, sound quality is better and I guess I'm just kinda old school like that. :p

I got another question though.  How do you play music in your car? 

 

I used to burn CDs to play music in my car.  But now I have aux and usb.  My stereo supports plugging in an iPod, which I've done.  But Apple is Apple and there's a bunch of pops and clicks and it sounds terrible.  Streaming from Amazon with my phone using aux works great but it's kind of a hassle to change songs and stuff and it just keeps playing when I turn the car off.  I'm probably just going to end up copying my mp3s to a thumb drive.  Am I doing this wrong?

I got another question though.  How do you play music in your car?

I put all of my music on my iPhone.  My truck has blue tooth compatibility, so I just stream it that way, or on the motorcycle, my stereo has a USB input that I run it through.  I've never had an issue with the sound quality in the truck.  On the motorcycle, if it's clicking or making other noises, I haven't noticed.
