Well? They could easily be in a communications blackout due to spies. If another team specifically knows who you are picking, they can mess everything up.

These days everything is tapped.

You missed the sarcasm in that post.  That was basically my point.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

<p class="" style="color:rgb(41,47,51);font-family:Arial, sans-serif;">Manziel said he has heard nothing from the Texans and still has hopes of going first. But he mentioned Jacksonville several times in 20 min.

Someone mentioned him recently following Tony Khan on Twitter too.

I keep on thinking that he's doing that to reinforce his threat to Houston that if they don't draft him, he is going to terrorize them for the rest of his career.

While I still think that's just more posturing that anything else, I really like that kind of attitude.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Is it bad that when I think of Manziel becoming a Jag, I smile? And then when I heard of Mack, or Watkins or Matthews I feel nothing?

Is it tomorrow yet?

Sick

I think  if theres a smoke screen it in no way benefits the Texans because if give Atlanta more trade partners and a lower price for the 2nd pass rusher, if anything it benefits St Louis, who have already used Manziel as bait. So what good does that do? But it'd be nice if Mack and Watkins are both there at 3 and Detroit and Atlanta getting in a bidding war for the pick. No one knows what we're really going to do, they just pick the best player on their board. It may well be Manziel, although in my head Caldwell likes safer type picks. A smoke screen this soon before the draft doesn't have as much effect as it would have a week or so ago. So maybe the smoke screen all the long was that we didn't see a QB worth taking at 3. I overthink things though...

He's a QB, so it's not surprising.

Doesn't Teddy follow Tony and JB14?

Somehow I don't think Manziel is the guy.

Caldwell and company have mentioned several times the value of experience at the college level.

Of all of the top QB prospects, he is among the least experienced.

IDK but yea I know we like Teddy too, It was reported on ESPN today that Manziel is 1. Teddy is 2. on our QB board, but its more so that Houston is not picking Manziel and the fact that they havent talked to him much is no smokescreen

Quote:His jersey would sell in record time and record prices... You would see Manziel Tebow jerseys everywhere... People who don't care for the Jaguars would be wearing his jersey just because of who he is... I'm not saying he is the right pick at #3 but boy would it be fun.

I think we've heard this before.

I don't think he is either, especially not at Three. But I've been fooled before.

My gut feel is that they take Manziel.

That could also still be yesterday's Chinese buffet.
