How would you like this group as the top five picks for the Jaguars...?

Eh, I'd be okay with it.  But not impressed. But I'm a bit of a pessimist.

Would rather have Jordan Matthews than Cody Lattimer.  Richburg is an okay pick.  Not a fan of Aaron Murray.  Would love to see McCarron fall to that point though.  I've come to terms with Mack.  I'm hoping he can be as great as people make him out to be.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Richburg won't be available in the third, in fact I could see Lattimer, Richburg and Murray all being gone by those picks.

As the article indicates, I'm not big on Indiana players.

They've produced a small handful (Adewale Ogunleye, Antwaan Randle El, Ian Backles, Pete Stoyanovich, Trent Green) of guys, but to me their players tend to not be very good in the NFL.  Latimer sounds promising, but his Indiana background gives me pause.

I would be more than happy with this but like above would rather have Mathews than Latimore. I personally love Murray can't knock a 4 year starter in the SEC.

I like them all but Murray would be a wasted pick, nothing more then a career backup

I like Latimer but not that high

I like Mack @ 1

Latimer is nice but would prefer him later...

I like Richburg @ 3

Murray is fine @ 4 let him develop and see what happens...

With the other 4 I'd like to see Aikens or Telvin Smith type speed LB

I don't care for Latimer simply because I don't think he'll fit into the culture in the locker room. From what I have read, he is not all that hard of a worker and I don't see them using a "starter" caliber of draft pick on a guy like that.

I don't think Richburg will be there in the Third, but I would have no problem with the pick.

I'm a fan of Murray.

The Canadian Surgeon would be a surprise to me.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

I'd be stoked with Mack and Richburg, happy with Murray at that pick (although I'd prefer to take a QB sooner), not really thrilled with Latimer that early, and I don't know, well, anything about Duvernay-Tardif.

I suppose I'd be classified as "just ok" with that group given my reservations about Latimer, especially when other, better receivers from bigger schools are likely to be on the board.

Duvernay-Tardif would at least give us a hyphenated named player!

If we drafted him, I'd be tempted to call him Duvernay-Tardis though.

For the record, I do like Aaron Murray in the 4th better than Garappolo in the 2nd.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

As someone earlier said, the Murray pick will most assuredly wind up being a wasted pick...but I like the other 4 enough that I'd still be very happy with those 5 if they are the picks.

Which we're in need of.

Henne's days are numbered, and yes, we do need a quality backup in addition to a starter.

Henne would make a great backup.  Plus he's only 28.  Whether the team can keep him (or would choose to) here as a backup is another story.  He may want to still try and prove he can play somewhere and go where there's a competition but I don't see him ever being a starter again.  He's only our starter because we haven't found his replacement.  He's best on the bench in spot duty.

On a side note, I read this week that Rob Rang is also a teacher. Interesting stuff. I am guessing the draft game doesn't pay that well.

surprising, but I guess all you have to do is have scouting connections and writing can be your side job

I said this in another thread. The opinion works for this thread as well.

Mack - Cautiously optimistic

Latimer - Highest bust potential aside from Kelvin Benjamin of the second tier receivers, but hopeful

Richburg - If we can find a starter quality center in the 3rd round I'm good with that (though I doubt this happens)

Murray - Really like it

Canadian guy - Intriguing, but the blurb reminds me of all the blurbs off Gene Smith picks. "Unproven against top competition, great athlete, needs coaching up, etc."

So overall, merely meh

Which is why I'd prefer a rookie who hasn't topped out yet.

I'm close to this.  Unless there's a trade down I think the pick is Watkins or Mack.

Otherwise, other than Murray in a value round, none of the rest does much for me.  I don't think we see an o lineman come our way until the fourth.
