Manziel "isn't wild about the idea of landing in Jacksonville" per Don Banks

Quote:<p style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:11px;">This week's strong and completely contrasting media reports about Cleveland's intent on drafting Manziel at No. 4 makes his ultimate destination seem a total riddle, but there is one nugget I've gleaned from a source that has insight into Manziel's inner circle. From what I've been told, Manziel's family is not rooting for Houston to be his NFL home, believing that staying in Texas will make his already challenging transition to professional football that much more challenging.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/new...umors/#all We show less advertisements to registered users. Pretty sure Manziel said that if the Texans pass up on him, he hopes to go to an AFC South team to show the team(s) that passed up on him what they missed out on.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I always found it funny the media would say 3 would be high for these QBs to go but then turn around a say 4 to Clev is good spot for Manziel.

I doubt thats true. Thats just being put out there by another team that does NOT want teams trading up with us, I'm guessing Houston or the Rams people put that out there.

The Texans fish wrap is 115% with their heads wrapped around this wheels down in Jax Johnny Foottall.

Let's Get Em!!!! Go Jags!
I've always though of Manziel in football terms. But I just was thinking today how HUGE it would be for the city if he actually did come here. Could Manziel in Jacksonville completely transform the city? Or am I exaggerating?

In one sense, looking at those trade value charts, the 3 pick is twice as valuable as the 8. But in another sense the difference is only 5 players in a league that has 1,696 players.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

Or am I exaggerating?I think transforming the city is a little overboard but he would definitely bring media coverage like we have not seen in a long time, if ever.
Looking to troll? Don't bother, we supply our own.
I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant what Manziel wants or thinks. If the Jags draft him, I guess he could sit out and refuse to sign. That would do wonders for his stock.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Could Manziel in Jacksonville completely transform the city? Or am I exaggerating? That's a little over the top. The city isn't going to change if Manziel is here. The franchise will get more attention, both good and bad. The city will still be the same city either way. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Oh yeah I'm sure he'd rather go to Cleveland, where he'll play out in the cold for a year and then be out on his *** when they fire the office and draft a new QB again next year.
I don't like to think that there is a team out there thats actually doomed, but if one exists its them. It seems to me even when they're relatively good and the rest of the division isn't as good, like last year. They still are only 4-12 Quote:I've always though of Manziel in football terms. Or am I exaggerating?Think of it in Mike Vick in ATL, he was the cities big star and their guy, electric player, exciting player and he also won games, 2 NFC title games Johnny could do that for Jacksonville as long as he turns out to be a good player, Jacksonville has never had a star like that

Quote:Now PFT reporting this nonsense, lol. Shocker.... They are on bad Jaguars news like a fly on [BLEEP]. But when good Jags news comes around, <crickets> from their garbage website.
Quote:Wasnt Vick ALOT faster than Johnny. Actually isnt Vick ALOT faster than Johnny Yes he was/ is. Maybe Johnny is better in the brains/ football IQ dept. I don't know if he is, but if so, that would help negate any physical superiority Vick has/ had over Johnny Football. |
