Quote:Wow, you're something! There have been rumors flying about this all spring, what are you so proud of? I'm just havin a little fun with the bowing to sensei stuff...but You must not have paid attention to the arguments I have been having about this QB for what seems like years. So many said he'd never get traded because no one thought he was any good. I always stuck by Mallett claiming he indeed would get traded and cited guys like Schaub, Brunell, Hasselbeck, etc etc as QB with not much of a track record as far as NFL snaps go, but still netted a trade and became franchise QB. Quote:I'm just havin a little fun with the bowing to sensei stuff...butI was off the board for those, but this doesn't shock me one bit. He was a 3rd round pick, which was considered a fall due to character, and sat behind brady and was coached by Obrien. It makes a ton of sense but i hope he fails miserably. I also think NE will for sure draft a QB. Bridgewater to NE would be a perfect fit. In fact, i'm calling it!

Thats the only way they are getting Bridge. Personally, I think the Pats take Tom Savage at some point. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! LOL... NE has traded several backup QBs that never amounted to anything. It's nothing new. It's what they do.

When you trade with the devil, you're gonna get burned.

Quote:I'm just havin a little fun with the bowing to sensei stuff...butDude hasn't done crap in four years in the league. I'm sure the rest of the league is quaking in their collective cleats.....
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
Quote:Are the Patriots trading up? Thats the only way they are getting Bridge.Words of a prophet, imo. Quote:None of them had Mallett's talent.Cassel led the Patriots to an 11-5 record in Brady's absence. He would go on to lead KC to a playoff season and make an appearance in the Pro Bowl. Please convince me of how untalented Matt Cassel is/was.

The Patriots are only looking for a roll of toilet paper and a keg of Sam Adams, but the Texans won't budge from their offer of a second-round pick. It seems both sides are at a standstill.

It seems both sides are at a standstill. i just saw on twitter that there is an impasse because the texans wont offer anything more than bud light.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
Quote:Words of a prophet, imo. Until Cassel got his chance in New England, everyone thought he was a nothing. Cassel wasn't even a starter in college. Mallett was one of the best college QB the year (preceding) he was drafted. I guess Mallett isn't getting traded now or what? Have heard nothing since, but at this point especially with Bridgewater gone, I don't see how Mallett is any worse than the alternatives (Carr/ Mettenberger/ Savage)
If the Pats trade Mallet who would be the Patriots backup? Do they carry three QBs?
Why would Belichick take a chance of not having an experienced QB should Brady get injured?
The sun's not yellow, it's chicken.
