Mallett is being traded for to be their franchise guy. Their starting QB. 

 

Leftwich and Gabbert were traded on the cheap to be a backup.

Keenum??? lol.....Fitzpatrick? Maybe....initially - if you recall, when we traded for Brunell, Beuerlein still initially started. Then Brunell took over as full time starter during the year. It would be similar to that.
