i wonder if johnnyjaguar knows who we are gonna take in round 2.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
It's all opinions until they play on Sunday. I was pretty shocked with Bortles at #3, but I am not disappointed. I think we will be fine because of FO and coaching staff.
With that said I want Jordan Mathews @ #39
WR
Lee, Matthews, Moncrief would all be awesome picks. Kind of prefer Matthews for his size.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

It would be fantastic for Bitonio to fall.

Quote:Didn't you have Bridgewater ranked #1 overall? You were off by almost an entire round there buddy, maybe you shouldn't be so confident in your evaluations. What has happened to prove me wrong? I never said where he will go, just where he should go. We'll revisit that in a few years. Quote:Can you say Bridgewater isn't the best player in this draft? No? After that many hours, I'd seriously consider another desired profession. Seriously.

I wouldnt give you a hard time if you werent downright arrogant about your evaluations. I wouldn't give you any trouble if you prefaced your sayings by saying "in my opinion" more often. You assert things like they are gospel. You may believe you have more knowledge or insight than literally all the QB needy teems in the world.. I believe you are just an arrogant amateur draft snob

Quote:"Guessing" isn't really the right word to use as I did put in over 200 hours of evaluating into the draft, but thanks for the defense. You evaluated him for 200 hours...and then you made a guess as to who was the best. I didn't mean to imply you just said "Hey I think TB will be the best." (Which is what I did when I said that I felt Bortles would be the best QB from this draft class in a few years). Guessing is guessing...with or without evaluation. Quote:I wouldnt give you a hard time if you werent downright arrogant about your evaluations. What about your perception? Perhaps your perception is off? Not saying that KY isn't everything you said...but from what I have read I dont think he's that way.

Just Stop Quote:"Guessing" isn't really the right word to use as I did put in over 200 hours of evaluating into the draft, but thanks for the defense.200 hours and you have a detailed evaluation of every player anyone asks about? I put close to 100 hours into the qb's alone, and Im far from an expert its just something I enjoy doing! I agree with the above post, you create your own problems with the "I know more than anyone about everything draft related" attitude. Theres nothing wrong with spending days on end getting to know the players, I love doing it. Quote:You evaluated him for 200 hours...and then you made a guess as to who was the best. I put 722.42 man hours into evaluating this draft. I agreed with Caldwell that Bortles was the best quarterback.
I will let you know if the Jaguars are smart and agree with my second and third round picks tomorrow. Quote: I would be happy if the draft would go that way before Seattle's pick, so we could draft Latimer or the best OT/OG on our board. |
