Yes, you can actually say that Bridgewater was not the best player in this draft.

 

Looking at the results... there was only one franchise caliber graded QB.  There was also a wildcard QB.

 

Then, there was the next tier.  The results show how the GMs truly felt.

I read the posts that interest me. I do not read based on who is posting them. I have seen KY comment many times and I have no found him to arrogant. Also you must have missed the part in my response where I said "not saying that KY isn't everything you said". No matter how you slice it, dice it, spin it or whatever else you or anyone else wants to do to it. Your "opinion" is that he's arrogant. You are entitled to that opinion...just as he is entitled to his about who HE thinks is #1. SuperJ flat our admitted that he gives KY trouble because he doesn't say that these are his opinions. If you need someone to preface everything they say is their opinion..then maybe you shouldn't be posting at all. Everything said on these boards is opinion...Even when the GM's and scouts do their evaluations it's THEIR opinion.....and NEWS FLASH they vary. 

 

I just don't understand why people cannot read what a guy says and say..yea...I dont agree with that guys..but hey...it's his opinion. Does it make people feel better about themselves to insult other people just for giving their opinion? When you have to give someone a hard time because you're to ignorant to understand that it's an opinion you're just sad...................in my opinion of course.

No, you actually cannot. You can however say that he wasn't viewed as the best player in this draft as he was pass over by all 32 teams at least once. You can say for a fact that he wasn't the first person taken off that board...that's a fact. No one can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that Teddy is not the best player in this draft...just can't be done. Anyone trying to spin that is just stating their own opinions...maybe an opinion shared by 99% of the world. But you cannot know for sure. period.

According to Mike DiRocco, the vibe he is getting is that the Jags will target a C in round 2, and an OG in round 3.  

 

On the other hand, he didn't predict last night's pick, so what does he know?

I am honestly torn here. I felt that the best way to approach this draft was to draft Mack, not because I am such a huge fan but mainly because this draft is said to not be very deep with rushers. I felt we could grab a rusher in the first, qb in the 2nd and wr in the 3rd beings the wr class is so deep. Now that we went with QB first I am not sure if I want us to grab a WR or Rusher. If we go WR I like the idea of grabbing a bigger WR we already have small receivers. I dunno, I am not an expert just some thoughts.

I'm surprised.  He is good value, but I think we had much bigger needs given that we already took Marqise Lee.  Even assuming Blackmon never comes back, we still have Cecil Shorts who I think is a legitimate starter  It doesn't hurt to have more receivers, but it's interesting that they would trade up given the huge needs on the interior offensive line and linebacker.  This probably means they let Shorts walk as a free agent after this year.
