Yeah.. That he's a better QB and leader.

Quote:Agreed, although he doesn't compliment Gerhart.

Oh I know. He wouldn't be a good fit for our team. I am just saying they may have just gotten a steal. He is a very good all around back.

Doubtful. Even if GMs all view him as a UDFA, some owner is going to walk into the war room in round seven and suggest that it would be great PR to draft him. Not trying to be controversial or anything, but it's the truth imo. If Sam comes off the board in the seventh compensatories, I wouldn't be shocked if an owner walking in and instructing the GM to use a throwaway pick on a guy who carries great pub even if he doesn't make the 53-man is the reason why.

I like Michael Sam as a LEO. He is not straight line fast but I love his quickness, burst off the line, and he is competes on every play.

That's what you guys want with our only 4th round pick with all the needs we have?  Okay.... I give up...

Lol, do you have ANY idea how the draft works?  You're making yourself look like a clown.

I just don't think he's really that good, and won't be a great fit for either a 3-4 or a 4-3.

Chicago got a good one

Kevin Pierre-Lewis, now there's a Seahawks linebacker if I've ever seen one.

Yup he was a smart man not taking that invite to NYC, he would still be in the green room lol

WR, RB, OL, DL, OLB

There's still a LOT of draftable talent on the board and we're nearing the end of the fourth.

Deep, deep draft.

Quote:You don't realize it's possible he feels the player Colvin will be is going to be better next year than anyone we could have picked (like McGill) this year?

What would you be saying if McGill turns out to be a C+, B player in 2015 even after a year under his belt, and Colvin is looking B+, A as a rookie after sitting a year?

That's his gamble.  Yes, gamble.
I would say that is fine if we are stacked already.  The Niners and Seahawks can afford to gamble on injured players with their rosters, we can't with this roster.  That is what I am trying to say.  I know we are not "one player away", but still, we need depth badly at other positions.

Hopefully the gamble on Colvin is a good one and he does turn into a starter at nickel or something in 2015.  Hopefully Linder starts at RG this year and plays well, making Caldwell look good.  I won't be mad.  Just expressing my current thoughts.

Quote:Just now noticed the Cardinals took QB Logan Thomas over all the over higher-ranked prospects.

I really thought they would take Mettenberger, or even Savage.

I think they just didn't want the Niners to get Thomas in the 5th or 6th.  LOL

Mett might have some medical issues.

Quote:The sentence above was irrelavant. The write up said he could "NOW" push for playing time in 2015. Does not matter what he was before the injury. It matters what he is NOW....which is a possible part-time player in 2015, according to them. Okay, my blood pressure is going up. This is why I stayed off the board a good while before the draft.

Come on now. You're better than that jagabc6893. The draft is about the FUTURE not tomorrow. If you can get top 50 talent in the 4th round I'll take it everyday. Even if we may have to wait a year to see him.
