Draft coverage draws highest ratings ever

Per ESPN’s own Bill Hofheimer, the network’s Thursday night presentation netted a 6.8 rating, the highest ever for ESPN draft coverage.

Not the greatest news for those of us who would like the dates to return to late April.

 

Wonder how much the Johnny Football drama helped the ratings?

IMO... they should swap pro days and Combine.

 

Start and stagger pro days not long after the season is over.

 

Then push the combine back a week or so to better fill the dead space.

Would have been higher then that but most NFL teams had draft parties that were pretty packed by the shots on TV.
