Right. I saw Telvin Smith play. He's very fast, a good tackler, and gives full effort every play. He's light for a LB, but this is a passing league now. I thought he was the best LB in the draft, other than the pass rush specialists.

That is a very good point as well, stayed a lot on the East Coast with local guys which helps a ton.  UCF, USC, Penn State, Miami, Oklahoma, Florida State, Arkansas, Virginia, UCF.

 

Out of 9 picks, 4 were from Florida, 2 more from the East Coast, and another from the SEC.  Zero small school guys, which apparently the fans don't like during drafts

I LOVE Telvin Smith. So stoked we took him. He is the kind of LB that is tailor-made for todays NFL. Smaller guy that can play in space and chase down these smaller RB's we are seeing now. GREAT PICK.
