Xavier Su-A-Filo.. the top guard drafted.. so yes, we're going to rely on him

 

C.J. Fiedorowicz..  Best all around TE in the draft and with the departure of Owen Daniels + O'Briens two TE system, yes we're going to rely on him

 

Louis Nix..  Best NT and one of the best steals in the draft..  With our switch to a traditional 3-4 we needed a traditional NT.. the traded up for him for a reason, we're going to rely on him.  This guy has the potential to be the best NT in the NFL.

They were able to throw the ball last season, even without Schaub.  The problem was they couldn't block anybody.

 

Honest Answer,  Houston fans never thought they were going to win a SB with Kubiak so they were ecstatic with taking a nose dive and ridding themselves of the diseases that have infected this team... getting the first pick in the draft was just a bonus.  Bill O'Brien is a no nonsense hard [BLEEP].. (anti Kubiak) and that's exactly what this team needs.

owen daniels was a fine blocking TE. the problem was the running backs on the texans cant stay healthy, and foster is greatly overrated. in 8 games last year he scored 1 whopping touchdown rushing. 

 

so again to recap for trindon:

 

foster is not reliable and not as good as you texans fans pretend.

you actually lost one of your best receiving threats in daniels.

your actual good players are only getting older.

andre johnson is going to be 33 by the time the season starts, that downward spiral hits quick.

you have no QB. 

your defense isnt good.

you are relying on clowney who doesnt have a fit in your defense and louis nix to make it good. both of whom are rookies. rookies seldom make that big of an impact.

your defense is going to be tired because theyre going to be on the field a lot.

 

we could argue back and forth all day, but at the end of the day, ill put my money where my mouth is and guarantee the jaguars have a better record than your texans come the end of the season.
