Bring home Randy Gregory

#1

Gregory will be in the discussion for #1 overall in 2015. The defensive end who sacked the QB 10 and a half times was born in Jacksonville, Florida! Bring him home! In all seriousness though, I'd love to have a guy like this but the opportunity probably won't be there. Gregory is a man amongst boys and it'll probably be him, Shilique Calhoun, and Vic Beasley as the premier pass rushers next draft

I'm not a big fan of Beasley. Seems a little too light to me. Not that he won't have a great season next year, but more that his game will need a lot of work once he takes it to the next level.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Calhoun is an animal

Played Bball against him in HS... The coaches hated him though he was really selfish. He left the court mid game once cause he wasnt getting the ball enough

How in the world does that sound like complaining? We won't get him, that a realistic outcome because we'll probably win about 6,7, or 8 games. The opportunity won't present itself. You reached for that big time. The thread is more about Randy Gregory and the monster he will be and less about the Jaguars. "I'd love to have a guy like this but the opportunity probably won't be there." I'm baffled. How'd you get complaining out of that.

Vic Beasley does seem small, though. Weight and height, but talent is there

just like we had no shot at teddy? remember the year people said jevan snead would be the number 1 overall pick but he went back to school. the next season i think he got drafted in the 5th round. you just cant even begin to guess where guys are going yet.

SHouldn't be. He's not a QB, and I doubt he'll be seen on the level of Clowney as a pass rusher.

im so glad we didnt get stuck into drafting clowney. the hype machine would have forced the jaguars hand if he was there. but randy gregory could wind up being hyped that much by end of season. youre looking at guys like mariota, winston, gregory, all sitting around top 5.

I kinda hope we are not in the top five discussion next year! I'm hoping 10-15 range two guys to help our defense in that range I would say is Denzel perryman mlb for Miami and Mario Edwards jr de from fsu

I don't think we'll be picking high enough to draft him.  I can see top 10, but I see too many improvements the past two years for another top 3 pick.

So much can happen in the next year. Everybody had Bridgewater as the number one pick for the entire college season. A year ago, who would have thought we could have gotten Lee at 39.

That year Snead wasnt even DRAFTED. UDFA by Tampa and has had no career to speak of. Refuse to buy the hype and give the guy a chance at to play a game before saying we are stupid for not drafting X, Y, or Z.

I think Edwards is going to have a huge year. He and Greg Robinson battled all night during the NC game.

True, you never know.  If he progresses like he has been, it sounds like he'll go top 5 easily though.
