Teddy told agent Cle. is not where he wanted to be

#21

Quote:Who does he think he is? Eli Manning or John Elway? I guess he thinks he can just pick and choose where he wants to play. I have never seen a 1st/2nd fringe QB pick and chose where he wants to go. Eli and Eway did but those guys were consensus first round talents. I liked Teddy until I read this, I kind of have 2nd thoughts on him now.

Teddy B asked about Cleveland taking him on @dpshow. “I actually told my agent that’s not the place where I wanted to be.”
If Elway and Manning can do it, why not Bridgewater. I can now lump all three in the same spot in my mind now. I have always disliked, a lot, Elway and Manning because of their actions regarding teams who drafted them. It's a crap move in my opinion.

He's not in the same boat, he didn't try to manipulate his way out of playing for a certain team, he just stated AFTER THE DRAFT that his preference was not to play for a team that didn't even draft him. It's a non-issue.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

Im sure his agent told Cleveland he did not want to play for them so its kinda the same. You shouldnt be able to pick and chose were you want to play.

You're sure? Based on what exactly? Reports are that his name was on the draft card until the owner stepped in. I doubt the GM would have wanted him if that was the case. Don't just make things up out of thin air.

That his agent told the Browns that he didn't want to go to Cleveland.

He's looking out for his future, Cleavland is a quarterback graveyard.

I think it shows low character, but that's never been a concern for TB, either.

Either way, I'm not necessarily against it. It isn't as though he held out until he was traded. If the cards are available, there's nothing stopping him from using them.

Quote:I remember hearing something of an insurance policy should TB not be taken in the first round? Was that true? Did Minnesota cost him some money by trading up?

A lot of people picked up insurances plans. Marqise Lee is likely to make $5 million from his since he was projected as a top-WR in last year's draft. Lee also has a lot more to use in his efforts to receive compensation due to his amazing production and the knee injury. Bridgewater just has mock drafts.

Cleveland is the most unstable nfl franchise, so I don't blame any player that doesn't want to go there. Pettine is just 8 months away from his black monday.

Thats weak.

The evidence was destroyed!!...., FBT own up you got caught with your foot in mouth. You erroneously stated that Bridgewaters stay in Cleveland would be a short one. You clearly forgot that Minnesota drafted him and not the Browns....

Carly caught you there and you shredded the evidence....smh, c'mon man....own up. Do the right thing!!!!

Haha!

Just scrolled through three times looking for my comment, and whooosh. It's been deleted.

On Wisconsin.

Can't say I blame him. I wouldn't want to live there either.

I'll wait and see BUT this kid was NEVER impressive to me when they interviewed him...too skinny and he sounds like he's going to struggle when it comes to reading NFL coverages
