Rookie Minicamp thoughts and highlights

Quote:I was really pleased with the little press conference BB did.  The one thing I was afraid of was big, and dumb.  Not the case at all.

What goes on between the earholes is 90% of the game.  This kid's got it in spades.

I just can't believe it, we have a Quarterback...  AND a coach...  AND a GM....    AND the BEST owner in Football...   YEEAHH BABY !!
I couldn't agree more. I thought Bortles looked much more comfortable today and his passes much improved.

I was thinking this just might be the most excited I have ever been as a Jag fan.  The only thing that can compare for me was when we got Stroud and Henderson.

I just can't really wrap my head around it - it was sooooo bleak for soooo longgggg..

At this point, Bradley may have to learn to control the mania.  It's great fun watching him grow into the job as well.

And Caldwell became a formidable counter-party this election cycle.

Laughingstocks no more !!

On twitter, it was said he came out with his long time friend Dan Henning, who is a local resident of Jacksonville and has his own storied career in the NFL. Not aware of any reasons beyond that.

I have had to follow all of this the last 11 days from JAG.Com and Darft on TV as I am TDY Tampa / Ft. Meyers

6200 freakin fans, AYKM.

Jeez, remember we were lucky to get 3k at the scrimage at the end of JDR's term.

My neighbor who attended remarked on the number of Seminole, Lake, Osceola and Orange County plates there.

Go JAGS

Jerry Sullivan and Bill Parcells are old friends.  They broke into coaching together as position coaches at Texas Tech in the 1970s.    Also on that coaching staff were Romeo Crennel, fomer NYG/ current Cowboys TE coach Mike Pope (considered the best TE coach in the game).  Parcells also has a gigantic retirement home outside of Jupiter.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Parcells back during training camp.  A lot of those old school guys like to bring in their buddies to scout out a few practices to provide their insights into personnel.    Parcells used to bring in Chuck Fairbanks and Ron Wolf all the time to Cowboys training camp just as a sounding board on opinions on players.
