Quote:Pop Music Sales Plummet As Top 10 Sells Around 300K Copies TotalWell, have you listened to modern music lately? It's mostly © rap music about banging hoes and killin' cops and let's not forget how cool that they think they are..... Yeah, modern music is not even music anymore. It's sewer lifestyle.
What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Nah Rap now is about hoes, cars, and money. The real killers quit in the 90s or killed each other.
Drake and all them, it's garbage lol... Give me some Public Enemy, NWA, etc. That's rap. ![]()
Country Music is every bit as big as Rap or Hip-hop is. Heck, Taylor Swift's "Red" sold over 5 million albums since it's October 2012 release. In fact, country is slowly becoming the new "Pop". Country music these days is nothing like the classics (Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, etc.) and is much more up-beat / pop-ish.
2013 Earnings Toby Keith $65 million Taylor Swift $55 million Kenny Chesney $53 million Tim McGraw $33 million Carrie Underwood $31 million Brad Paisley $30 million The only three rappers to make over $30 Million in 2013 are Puff Daddy, Jay-Z, and Dr. Dre (Puff Daddy being the highest at $50 million). The irony is that those rappers all become famous in the 80s and 90s. On top of that, a lot of their net worth is fueled by things other than music (ie. Beats by Dre headphones). Furthermore, here are all of the non-Rap singers that netted more income in 2013 than the #4 earning rapper (Nicki Minaj). 1. Madonna $125 mil 2. Lady Gaga $80 mil 3. Bon Jovi $79 mil 4. Toby Keith $65 mil 5. Coldplay $64 mil 6. Bruce Springsteen $62 mil 7. Justin Bieber $58 mil 8. Taylor Swift $55 mil 9. Elton John $54 mil 10. Beyonce $53 mil 11. Kenny Chesney $53 mil 12t. Puff Daddy 12t. Paul McCartney 14. Calvin Harris 15. Jennifer Lopez 16. Roger Waters 17. Muse 18. Rihanna 19. Jay-Z 20t. One Direction 20t. Dr. Dre 22. Red Hot Chili Peppers 23t. Rolling Stones 23t. Katy Perry 25t. Tim McGraw 25t. Pink People saying things like "nowadays, its mainly either hip hop, rap, dance, or growl metal. and thats pretty much it. Anything else is seen as "uncool" or corny by the sheep in that generation" are blatantly ignorant.
Some of the listed "country" singers are fringe country at best.
