Amaro: I want 100 catches a year

#1

I liked the Robinson pick but I really wanted to trade up for this guy.  I think he will be a stud if the Jets can get a QB that can get him the ball!

Yes I agree that is all we need. Looks like a trouble pick.

Jerry Rice said the same things when he got drafted.  Would hate to get a guy like that.

I'm pretty sure Jerry was more concerned about winning than individual accolades. He won pretty much his whole career.

Amaro is simply popping off at the mouth selfishly.

I knew Amaro personally and I highly doubt he meant it like that. He's a outstanding talent and I remember a while back you were pretty adiment we land him.

While it remains to be seen if Jace Amaro at least lives up to his draft billing,  one thing that stands out about Amaro is he's one of the most competitive NFL prospects.  Amaro's desire,  effort,  and  intensity levels increase his chances of success in the NFL.

Remember last year when Geno guaranteed the jets would make the playoffs on the draft stage? Lol.

Yeah, probably for the year 2085.

Nothing wrong with a little confidence.

When he doesn't meet his expectations, the media in NY will shred him, but they'll love the moxie up until that happens.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

based on literally one sentence people are calling him a potential trouble maker. hahahahahhahahahaha

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

I've seen that assumption for less.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this quote at all.

"Eventually, I'd like to do that on a consistent basis, be a tight end that catches 100 balls a year," said Amaro, who signed a four-year, $4.3 million contract before his first practice. "That might be five years from now, it might be 10. That's kind of a goal for me."

He has goals. I like it. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it.
