The only college football magazines I saw in Books a Million and also Publix so far is the SEC Football Mag. Are the others out yet that feature the entire NCAA (e.g. Athlons, Lindy's, and Phil Steele)

Yea Steele has his typical magazine. I find it hard to read though. Lots of abbreviations. And too many stats... especially stats from some player from 6 years ago. Reminds me of Mel Kiper's draft book. Too many stats and not enough analysis.
I've always stuck with the Athlon magazine, although I wish there was sometimes a little more in-depth analysis here as well. But at least you are actually reading something as opposed to sifting through numbers. They've gotten better with their recruiting analysis over the years as well. A whole page for each team with a breakdown of each recruit. I typically buy the SEC version which has 4-5 pages per team. And then I buy the national magazine which has one page for everybody. I dont need indepth for everybody but I do like a blurb on who their good players are and what the expectation is. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Reminds me of Mel Kiper's draft book. Too many stats and not enough analysis. Last time I read it, it had some VT info that none of the others bothered to do the legwork to dive into, which impressed me and made me feel he was digging deeper than his peers. So, when he would bring up things the other mags didn't touch on I got the feeling he did a better job of doing his homework, especially with some of this being low level information on guys new to the program. Of course that level of work may have changed in recent years. I felt the others had more fluff and tried harder to guide your opinion than lead you to make up your own mind, and tended to follow trends and themes that weren't necessarily current.

What in the world are we talking about? I think we are talking about a 4 - 8 record and how easy it would be to pick some low hanging fruit and go 6 - 6 in 2014. #33

While it is constantly tasking to endure the "good ol boy" palaver from Slive, Foley and who can forget Jay Jacobs revisionist history.
(Shamless ACC Plug) Go NOLES. All that aside, when ever I hear wimpering from Buckeye Fan, Bombastic Proclamations from Texas or any PAC 10, 11, errr 12 drivel I like to apply the State of Florida Rule. Simple: If you wish to become National Champs, here is your Schedule. WK 1. Write check to State of Florida for $250,000,000. Wk 2. USF Wk 3. UCF Wk 4. UF Wk 5. The "U" Wk 6. FSU. Good Luck. HeadSlap
