Starting him at QB would end the 3-and-outs. Can't go 3-and-out when you fumble on 1st down.

It's time for us to get our FRANCHISE QB...I'll go through a bad.season to get the "GUY". We've been mediocre for far too long now.

Just a few more losses than the CLOTS a few years ago and we could have had Andrew Luck... They're set for the next 12 years, and we're complaining about winning a game or two.


If they think there's a QB that's head and shoulders above all the others in the draft, and Gabby can help our draft status.... I'm all for it.

Jags are going to draft Teddy.  I don't see a winnable game left this season.  Just hope that the Bucs win a couple games.  With our luck, we could end up 1-15 or 2-14 and drafting 2nd or 3rd, missing out on our chance to get a franchise QB for the next decade.

The Bucs schedule looks 10x tougher. The Jags really need to be careful they don't slip up and win one or 2 before the Bucs do.

The best defense is to keep starting Gabbert.  With Henne, you might get unlucky and win a game or two.  2-14 could end up drafting 3rd - missing out on Clowney and Bridgewater.  With Gabbert, you've got a much safer route to 0-16.

The anxiety of wanting to get that #1 pick is almost as bad as when we are actually a competitive team and trying to win games and make it to the playoffs.

Hell, losing has become something to look forward to this season, sounds weird, but damn it I want a good QB.

Let the condemnation continue for any of those who have even the slightest desire for anything other than Teddy B to be the first pick of the draft by Jax! Because it'd be a crime to hope that we pick another possible star with a top 5 pick and move around elsewhere to still get a quarterback. There's no chance on this earth that any quarterback in this likely deep draft of quarterbacks comes anywhere near what Teddy B is certain to do during his illustrious NFL career! Heaven forbid we take any chance at seeing if one of the young guys (that half the fans on this site were practically hailing as a sure thing during the preseason or at least a better chance of helping this team to do something) on the bench could be the next... Oh, I don't know... the next late round or undrafted guy to become a star? Chances are less than slim, admittedly, but hey, some of ya'll...

Gabbert was so bad on Sunday, surely nothing can mess this up now...

How was he so bad on Sunday? you ppl moan about him cheking down and not throwing down field, well his YPA wich yall seem to think is a the best stat for a QB was 9.5. he was only sacked 2 times for a loss of 3 yards compared to the first two games of 6 and 4 for 50 and 30 yard loss. he only threw 2 int compared to 3 in both th other games. his qb rating was 30 adn 31 first 2 games was 59 yesterday. he threw for more yards.  im not saying it was not bad but it was a big improvement from his first two. and yes the browns can mess everything up. if we do not have the first pick whoever does the browns could offer thier 2 first round picks to move up to #1 and take teddy.

They're flat out tanking and lying about it at the same time. I'm for it thru the weekdays but come Sunday I always want the team to win so that tanking crap goes out the window. I hope we take Clowney or Barr and draft a qb later. If that qb doesn't pan out we tank another year. A lot of folks who support this organization and work for them is cool with losing, what's wrong with tanking next year again? At least we'll have a good pass rusher/playmaker on defense.
