FWIW, I remember him being very pro-Yates too. After their playoff loss.

Did you go to the public schools in New Jersey?

Right under the title of the article, it says it was written by Jeffri Chadiha... not Tania Gangulia. I'd be surprised if Tania ever balked a Texans' idea. She's not the type, she's the Kool aid reporter.

Quote:you would think a guru like bill O'Brien, a coach that we missed the boat on and will regret the texans having, would handle the situation better.

He is, don't listen to that hack reporter. He's got plenty of time to actually name the starter.

Man, I wished we'd have gone with Yates after that playoff loss. Kubiak done changed his play calling by then, he knew Matt was handicapped. Should have moved on then.

My comment was a sarcastic message directed at tmd for his "sky is falling" attitude when we didn't get B.O.B and the texans did.

I dont need to read the article to known that the texans are screwed. Anyone who says that schaub was terrible and says theyre a texan fan needs to pop off their blue and red blinders. Schaub was by far the best qb on the roster, then or now. They have a steaming pile of trash at qb.

Mea culpa....you're right it was written by Chadiha. As I was skimming through it, I saw where they listed Tania Ganguli, so, knowing she's the beat reporter, I assumed the information in this article was also obtained via her.

Regardless of who wrote the report, the info is the same.

Why is he a hack reporter? Because he's not buffing O Brien's shoes??

I think jags fans agree that the right move is to name Fitzgerald now and throughout preseason.....let the team get used to the #1 and then cut him right before the season opener. It keeps the team on it's toes! :whistling:

That might be true if they actually had a QB named Fitzgerald.....

looks like bill o brien felt the heat from the media and made a decision based on bad press. Pretty embarrassing texans....

It's true, I heard Rick Smith caught him studying and running the team based on Jeffri Chadiha articles and The Mad Dog's threads!  Bill got a major talking to after that, I assure you.

He said he was gonna let them battle it out.  The article came out questioning his method,  and what.... 3 days later? The battle is over? Hahaha

They've still got time to find one.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Bortles > Clowney and the Texans got hosed.

The Texans chose Clowney over Bortles. Getting hosed would indicate that the Texans wanted Bortles, but another team took him, which is not true. Not to say that Clowney wasn't a mistake (too early to tell), but I wouldn't say the Texans got hosed.
