There are other, less "look at me" ways to do charity work. I'd say it's more likely that the people that you think you are swaying are probably just trying not to hurt your feelings regarding your Lebron mancrush. I chuckled at the notion that Lebron didn't want to do "The Decision" but decided to put his hometown team through the humiliation anyway all in the name of charity.

LeBron might not be the nicest guy in the world, but hes not that evil as to purposely embarrass a city that loved him ever since he came into the league.  If he did generate 2.5 million dollars for the charity, then I guess I could understand him humiliating Cleveland on national T.V. lol.  Cleveland had it coming, anyway.  They knew he was leaving, but they wanted to hold on to a tiny bit of hope that he won't leave.  Anyway, it's Cleveland; it's where sport dreams go to die. Cleveland sport fans should know and accept the fact that it is their sports destiny. LOL.

 

 

Sure, there are other ways to generate money for charity, but do they generate anywhere near $2.5 million for one night? I highly doubt it.

Imagine my embarassment when I looked this up and found out he grew up about as far away from Cleveland as St. Augustine is to Jacksonville. Thanks for setting me straight. I forgot Akron had a team. Oh wait...

I hated Lebron James.. Then he became a member of The Heat.. Since I'm a Heat fan, I'm a Lebron fan now. And when and if he decides to leave Miami, I'll go back to hating him.. It's like a light switch.. I can turn it on and off..

I love seeing people hate on Lebron, especially at the bar. Making fun of the dude for being passionate about his sport, his job. The heat have made the NBA finals 4 years in a row and won twice. The heat don't have depth. It all falls on the big 3. They get worn out and they still won two championships and countless other accolades. Lebron is a millionaire, extremely talented, and still young. For some random bar patron like myself to sit there and criticize him is a joke. I don't even like basketball and I can appreciate what he's done. Jonathan martin is no different than any other bar patron. He's a never was.
